This is really a great sounding cd player. It has a great remote that makes switching between cd's really easy. The only problem that I had was one of the cd's came out of the slot that is made to hold the cd's in place and got lodged on top of the carousel. It only happened one time and has work perfectly.

Without being to wordy I will try to be specific. 1. Have played continually for several days, not a skip, very clear sound, reads discs with scratch's that caused skipping on my old machine. 2. The green light in front is excellent in lighting the disc's sufficiently so I can read the labels without the flashlight I used on my old Technics 5 disc unit. 3. The remote has exceptional distance range with flawless operation, over 20 feet. 4. Simple controls on machine and silver framed buttons on remote make this a pleasant player to use. 5. Price was excellent and delivery was fast and damage free.

This CD player has all the features I wanted and is built to last a long time. All the other CD players are either much too expensive as a second player - or they look more like kid's toys. I also know that I can depend on Onkyo to last a long time. One minor point: I wish it had a headphones jack.

Enjoying it so far. Very convenient to have 6 CDs playing on random during a dinner party. It's not an issue for me but, as some other reviews mention, it's big and it's heavy.

I replaced my 300 CD player with this 6 CD player. I’m very happy with this Onkyo DX -C90. I hooked it up and played a single disc to make sure it was good to go. I loaded 6 cds and used random play mode. Very smooth transition between songs and different CDs. I use a Onkyo Tx NR686 and home theater speakers set up with 7.1 and it’s a great sound.

Loving this purchase and the Onkyo quality. Easy to use and convenientnto load up to 6 CD's and listen to high quality sound.

Easy installation which was not what I had expected. When I out in a CD, i got a sound that was outstanding. The true quality of digital sound is on full display with this excellent product. I would recommendation this product without hesitation to both the audiophile as well as the casual listener.

Handles 6 CDs at a time to produce hours of music. Fidelity is excellent. Easy to use to skip discs, pause, or stop the program altogether.

Overall, the CD player/changer works exactly as expected. I really like the ability to change out CDs while another is playing. I’m using the optical output and the sound quality through my receiver is great. The only drawback of having a carousel style CD changer is the size of the device. Modern entertainment units seem to be built not as deep as older ones and the CD changer does not fit inside. I set it on top, but it still looks good.

Out standing 6 cisc CD Player. Easy to use outstanding sound. Especially for CDs they are releasing now whether you listen Classical Music or Classic Rock! Special Record labels are reissuing what they call a Hybrid / SACD. They have 2 layers and play on standard CD players or on expensive SACD Players. This CD Player is worth the price and the sound uality is excellent

I am an audiophile, so I have more demands on sound quality than most. I just wanted a basic CD changer to quickly replace my defunct player while I find a suitable replacement during an anticipated long search. I got this open box unit, and it had a surprise audiophile CD in the tray. Apparently an audiophile bought it first, did not like it and returned it. He was the hasty kind, and his lack of patience served him badly (thanks for the bonus CD buddy!), as indeed, while it was quite disappointingly flat out of the box: zero high frequency extension and absolutley no imaging. After a few hours of break-in it really started to open up, the high frequencies coming out. After a week of burn-in it is good enough that its sound straight out of the analog out compares head to head to the output from my highly modified PSAudio DAC! I am shocked, to say the least. PS: you can change the discs while a disc is playing...

This cd changer player was just what I needed to replace an old sony 5 disc unit that quit working. It has random shuffle play, and continuous play. Has optical, coax and analog outputs. Only thing that it does not display cd text on cd's that have text on them. But overall a great sounding unit.

I have found it very difficult to find a multi cd player. I have owned Onkyo over several years. I was so thrilled to find this 6 cd changer at Best Buy and at a great price too!

Very easy to operate and get the cd you want to listen to. Holds 6 cd’s and you can shuffle also! Load it up an enjoy a whole afternoon or evening before needing a change! Great machine!
