Great inexpensove purchase for those still rocking a CD collection. Easy to use. Produces a slightly less "full" skund compared to my pioneer unit. Still very satisfied with purchase.

I bought this 6 disc changer about 9 months ago, after the movers destroyed the one I had before. There are few, if any, on the market now but this Onkyo was rated high, so I gave it a try. I am glad I did because I am very happy with it. Combined with my current sound system, I have great sound and can listen to my music as much as I want. It is easy to use, once you read the instructions. Switching disks and songs are easy and not difficult. For me it was a good purchase and a good price.

Easy to set up and operate. it is just plug and play. Looks and sounds great. We purchased this to replace our Sony 5 disc changer that was manufactured in 1991. It was time!!

I was trying to get a Sony to match the one that went bad that I had for 20 years... I had some really bad luck trying to get this and I purchased the Onkyo from Best buy, and it is a great system... It is as close as I am going to get from my original Sony... It sounds great and matches my system well...

I have hundreds of CDs at home that I do not want to toss aside to streaming! Plus our stereo has some really great tower speakers that do serious justice to the CD experience.
As our older CD changer broke, I found this one, which had great ratings. It is a nice replacement, with excellent sound quality. The only reason that I am not giving it 5 stars is .... you have to have CDs in sequential positions in the changer for it to play continuously. IF, for instance, you have a CD in the #1 position and another one in the #3 position, it will stop playing after the first CD is finished. It does not search for a CD in the rotation positions. It does handle shuffles nicely.
The sound is great, which is the biggest factor.

I purchased the Onkyo 6 disk CD player to replace a JVC 6 disk CD player I had since the mid 90's. I wasn't disappointed! The sound quality is awesome, the remote is very easy to use, and it has all the functions I need. I wasn't thrilled about the green light above the carousel, but there is an easy way to turn it off. (It still lights up when the tray is open, but it actually has a function - it makes it easier to see the disk tray numbers in low light.)

My 5 disc Yamaha CD player recently quit after about 20 years. So i got the Onkyo Multi Disc Player and couldn't be more pleased. Its stylish, quiet, simple to operate, and sounds GREAT.
Cheaper than a Yamaha by $200.

I purchased a full system for my Mom for Mother's day and everything went well except the Onkyo C/D player did not turn on/on the face plate that shows what's playing. Frustrating because My Mom lives about an hour and a half south of me. So went and bought the exact same unit at another Best Buy An hour north of me. And contacted the Geek squad to help. The following week I went back down met with the Geek Squad and they completed the set up and returned the items that were not needed. Excellent service, on tilme and they refunded the service fee of $149.00 on top of everything else. Unbelievable!!! Thank you and the new C/D player is working as designed. Ps. The Martin Logan speakers are exceptional!!

The sound is excellent and the tray carriage is quick and smooth in operation. I like to load it up and let the music play with my choice of cds for hours. The last two players I had were 5 disc players so it’s cool to have a 6 disc player this time. Both of those players (different brand) had issues with the carriage malfunctioning after a few years...hopefully this brand doesn’t have that issue. I’m very happy with this Onkyo player so far.

Onkyo lives up to its high performance reputation with this must have product. This CD player enhances the listening experience with 6 CD capability.
Listeners will instantly hear and notice the superior CD quality music versus streaming or mp3 music.
The player would make a nice gift for music enthusiasts and casual listeners based on sound quality, price, reliability, build, appearance, and smooth and quiet disc playback.
5 stars out of 5.

Wasnt really planning on this purchase but found it on nearly half price open box. The associate open box for me to inspect and found it still sealed in foam and accessories unopened

This item was a gift for my husband that he requested specifically and I was able to find at a local Best Buy. The sales representative was able to help me get the right item and make sure that I was able to pick it up and get it to him in time for Christmas. He loves it.

I needed a CD player for the tons of music I still have on CD. This one was an excellent choice. Easy installation, sturdy, easy operation, great sound reproduction, nice looking unit. Delivery was ahead of schedule. Overall I'm very pleased with product and service.

After 15 years, my previous CD changer ceased working. I was fortunate to find this replacement at Best Buy, and it satisfies my expectations very well. It's easy to set up, works well with my other components, is easy to operate and sounds great.

When our SONY CD-changer started giving us problems, I looked for a similar player in several locations. The ONKYO seemed to be the closest in style and features. I read several reviews and decided to purchase it. It was easy to connect to our existing sound system. The only problem was that it is deeper than the one it is replacing and does not fit in the shelf space. But by rearranging the components, we found a satisfactory solution. All-in-all, we are pleased with our purchase and hope to have a long time to enjoy listening to music through this player,
Great sound! (which I didn't believe from reviews)

I didn't think the player could make a difference, and I don't have the special connection for the superior sound, but it really does sound fuller! Just replaced my Sony (as so many others have said, because it died) and plugged it in.
I read the instruction book and recommend it, I noticed lots of things people reviewed as bad, that you can find in there. For instance I noticed the green light can be turned off. I don't think the Random takes as long as some complain about. All in all, I'm very happy and I listen to music a lot more now.
Just miss a couple of things from my Sony. No volume control on the remote! And it's very disconcerting to load the CD's. They don't go in 1 - 6. They can go two at a time, but not in order. Hard to know which one is in which slot. Same thing with taking them out. Buttons are not very intuitive on the unit. The "open" should be easy to get to as you use that and "disc skip" which is right under it, the most.
But definitely buy it if you have CD's. Now if Best Buy would just keep selling the CD's themselves I'd be happier!
Plays well but dimensions seems a little oversized

I've only had it for a week, but seems fine so far. It's hard to find a multiple disk CD player. The technology is old I guess. But I have a lot of CDs my boyfriend makes for me and I don't want to loose the ability to play them. The only problem is the height and depth of the player is so much larger than my old 5-disc player that it is really too big for my media stand. I can make it work but I would prefer something slightly small as it looks weird because it sticks out far beyond the shelf it is on. For now it fits OK, but I would prefer a better fit. So check the dimensions before you order if your space is limited.
