We have most of our music collection digitally stored (Ipod, etc.). But, being able to listen up to 6 cd's without having to create a playlist is very convenient. In addition, Best Buy stood by their Price Matching policy that made the purchase even better.

Works perfectly and replaces a 25 year old Kenwood unit that failed years ago.

Bought to replace older changer. Works fine. Deeper than I thought so had to cut back of component cabinet to fit. Good value

I never thought I wanted/needed a CD changer until I used my wife's. The random/shuffle feature is actually pretty cool. When we needed to replace my old CD player when it died, I purchased this one. Then another when my wife's player decided its time was done. Very reliable, looks good, though slightly larger than the player it replaced.

We've had CD changers in the past that eventually would play only when full so I was hesitant to buy another changer when our last player died. A Best Buy sale made the price on this one too good to resist though. We paired this with our 20 year old Onkyo receiver that continues to work very well. Sound is great and it works as it should. The one complaint I have is the very small size of the buttons. Luckily we can work around that by using the remote, but I do wish they were larger and more clearly identified.

Well I bought this CD Player recently in case I lose access to the internet, I have a large CD music collection and at $150.00 it won't get much cheaper . Plus the other reason I bought it was because CD's are almost obsolete now. I will say it's a lot larger than I thought it would be but that's ok. It has the highest bit rate to read CD's so make sure your CD's are not scratched. Don't be afraid to buy long candles if you need the, their always cheaper on line. Enjoy!

I have used a Pioneer CD player for years with a CD cartridge, but that died and can’t be fixed. These are no longer manufactured, so I researched which multi player is now recommended and bought the Onkyo. It has definitely been a great choice. It compliments my Yamaha 483 receiver. Great sound and quiet CD changes. Christmas music is clear and sounds wonderful. I highly recommend this CD player and B.B. has matched the lowest online prices!

I have to admit I was a bit nervous given the dearth of multi-disc CD players out there now, but it worked flawlessly when I hooked it up and the sound was very good coming out of my 901 speakers. Just put it together yesterday so I can't speak to the long term durability of the unit.

It plays well but the remote control doesn’t regulate the volume. Is that correct?

I have owned one of these excellent CD players for a few years now and decided rather than buy a new singled disc player I would get this one. Just like the one I have owned for years, this new Onkyo works superbly. It fits well in the new TV/Entertainment stand I also just bought from BB. It was easy to hook up and fill with discs and hit "RANDOM" and settle back with an icy cold "non-adult beverage"! It also looks great! I cannot hear any difference unless a piece of equipment is so poorly made or defective and this Onkyo is not that. It is well made and relatively "heafty". I have a Sony 300 Disc player for about 10 years now and it too works great but when I get new CDs or just want to hear a favorite right away, this changer is my go to workhorse. Highly recommended? Yup! How can anything built with such quality be anything but highly recommended? No complaints here! Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.
