Purchased this CD player to replace my 28 yr old Kenwood. Plug and play and controls are very similar to what was on my old CD player. Old CD player held 5 CD's and this one holds 6. We have many CD's and maybe someday will convert them to files but until then this is great to load up with 6 CD's and have hours of continuous play or random play.

Hook up was easy. CD player works very well and is easy to use. Very good quality on sound - better than what my speaker system is capable of delivering. I like the ability to have six discs loaded for variety.

Good sound quality when pairing with the Sonos speaker. Really like the six disc capacity so there is no need to be changing to a new disc all the time. Good selection on features to choose how the songs are played. Did have to get a bluetooth adapter to pair it with my speakers.

Easy to hook up and use the remote certainly comes in handy getting harder to find a good CD carousel this is a good one.

It's a great Disc carousel for a great price. The Onkyo has a very nice warm sound and is quite to operate. The six disc changer gives you hours of music and you can change discs while one cd is playing. The changer works great. It is good sized, so you'll need room wherever you decide to put it. It plays pretty well without distortion. Random features work well. I haven't tried the memory function yet. You will be pleased if you have any CD's that worn or slighty scratched, as it plays them well. It is set up with the Onkyo AV receiver TX-SR373 and attached to a surround speaker system for home theater. It sounds amazing. Overall, we are very happy with this product.

This is our second one. We wore the last one out but I can't even remember when we bought the first one. It lasted a long time. This model is super easy to just plug into a receiver and use and it's been reliable so we just went for the same model.

I had trouble believing a CD player would actually sound better than another. I still don't understand it when it said I'd hear more of the middle range, but it's undeniable that the music sounds better. Not happy with all the differences between this and my SONY that died like so many others stated. I really miss their dial that let me scroll through all the songs on a CD. It's been months and I'm not quite used to how to use the remote or load CD's and know which will play in which order. I don't get why it skips left and right. But I love having 6 vs. 5. I love putting it on shuffle, and don't worry about the 3 or 5 seconds between songs. Enjoy the silence.

Bought this for myself as Santa knows what to buy at Christmas. Easy to hook up to stereo system and retired the cassette player. Sounds great and love that it holds six cd’s at a time. Yes I would recommend is for anyone that has a stack of cds to play. I play Vinyl records, but thing the CD player play just as well and six at a time !!! You can program it too !!! I think you’ll be happy with this one !!!

I purchased this after my old CD player went to cd player heaven. Saw recommendations on YouTube. So far very happy. A little slow in going from cd to cd, but all in all good buy, or sit it Best Buy.

I used both this and the C-7030. My main priority was sound quality. I found that DX-C390 and C-7030 both had inbuilt DACs (so they had digital outputs like Optical Toslink and Coaxial in addition to the Analogue RCA outputs). Sound quality was my main requirement and concern - multi CD changing ability was not a necessity - so probably just a good to have. I compared these 2 CD players (DX-C390 and C-7030) for sound using both digital and analog outputs. To my surprise I found no difference. I was using a Marantz Stereo Amp and Wharfedale Diamond speakers Pros 1) Well Built 2) Decent sound quality 3) 6 CD changing ability 4) Not expensive Cons 1) Bulky

The Onkyo CD changer has a solid, quality feel and great sound. There are not a lot of choices left for CD changers as streaming music and downloads have nearly eliminated CDs. It seems well built and has excellent sound quality, so if like me, you must have one you won't be disappointed with this model. Be aware this unit is big, if you have a smaller space in an entertainment unit this will be a tight fit, so measure carefully.

I don't use this very often - too many alternative sources for listening to music. But when I do, I am amazed by the sound quality. There is an overwhelming menu of options and plays back everything but a peanut butter sandwich. Love the ability to load and walk away, not having to attend to it any further for hours. But I have to admit, my favorite feature is the ominous green light on the front, reminding me of Gort every time I look at it.

Bought this to replace a 40+year old Sony unit. Easy to unpack, install, and use. Sounds great and we can keep enjoying the music we have from many years!

Purchased the CD player as a replacement for my 5 disc player, this is a 6 disc player. Love it, easy to operate, easy to connect. Slightly larger than I expected, but it works great.

Nice 6 disc CD changer. The unit was large in terms of size; but was very easy to set up and sounds great. I highly recommend using a digital coaxial cable for the best sound quality.

Replace a old Sony multi-changer with the Onkyo, couldn't believe how much better the sound quality is with the Onkyo. A little slow at reading disc but other than that a solid player just what I was looking for.

This is a good quality, reasonably priced 6-CD player that is fairly easy to set up but a little confusing for me to use with the remote.

Great CD Player! I love the fact that you can change 5 of the CDs while still playing one. I also like that it will play MP3s. Sound is good and it is easy to use.

Sounds great! It is a bit large so you need to have space. the Random feature is good, and it holds 6 cd's.
