Works great. CDs sound great. Better than my old Sony. We'll see how long it lasts.

I used both this and the C-7030. My main priority was sound quality. I found that DX-C390 and C-7030 both had inbuilt DACs (so they had digital outputs like Optical Toslink and Coaxial in addition to the Analogue RCA outputs). Sound quality was my main requirement and concern - multi CD changing ability was not a necessity - so probably just a good to have. I compared these 2 CD players (DX-C390 and C-7030) for sound using both digital and analog outputs. To my surprise I found no difference. I was using a Marantz Stereo Amp and Wharfedale Diamond speakers Pros 1) Well Built 2) Decent sound quality 3) 6 CD changing ability 4) Not expensive Cons 1) Bulky

I don't use this very often - too many alternative sources for listening to music. But when I do, I am amazed by the sound quality. There is an overwhelming menu of options and plays back everything but a peanut butter sandwich. Love the ability to load and walk away, not having to attend to it any further for hours. But I have to admit, my favorite feature is the ominous green light on the front, reminding me of Gort every time I look at it.

Usual for Onkyo—excellent! Didn’t have any problems with setup, just be sure to place on a lower shelf, peering down at the six position slot is not easy if too high. Sound replication is very good, very nice to have multidisk capability. Remote simple, no problem.

Sounds great! It is a bit large so you need to have space. the Random feature is good, and it holds 6 cd's.

The 6 Disc Onkyo CD Player has performed exceptionally well. The Sound was awesome when we connected it to our speakers. It did what we wanted it to do.

Purchased the CD player as a replacement for my 5 disc player, this is a 6 disc player. Love it, easy to operate, easy to connect. Slightly larger than I expected, but it works great.

Nice 6 disc CD changer. The unit was large in terms of size; but was very easy to set up and sounds great. I highly recommend using a digital coaxial cable for the best sound quality.

This cd player is exactly I was hoping for. I love that it holds six discs at once and that you have the option to have one cd play one after another as well as randomize tracks from each disc in the player. The remote control works perfectly. If there was one thing I wish this model had was a sleep timer.

Needing a new CD changer after many years of service from the old one, I purchased the Onkyo 6-disk changer. The operation so far has been flawless. CD's that sometimes skipped, if not properly cleaned, with the old player do not skip at al with the Onkyo. It is also my opinion that the sound is better. I would recommend this product.

I have a large collection of audio CD's that I have acculumated over the years, and when my old Sony CD player gave out, I was looking to replace it with a 6 CD player. I went online to Best Buy and saw that the Onkyo CD Player was on sale and was $20 off the list price. I am extremely satisified with the purchase. Easy to install, Outstanding sound quality. With my large investment in Music CD's, it was a smart decision.

I purchased an Onkyo CD changer at the black Friday sale to replace a flaky Kenwood 5-disc changer that I love, but they do not make anymore. It's hard to find CD changers these days with the popularity of music streaming, so my choices were limited. I have had bad experiences with Sony CD players, so I do not recommend them. I like that it is a 6-disc changer but I have only used audio CDs in it so far, so I can't say how it works with MP3's. The one feature that my Kenwood changer had that I miss on the Onkyo is that you cannot see the total number of tracks on the CD when you are not playing a CD.

This 5 disc changer works perfectly and the sound is crystal clear. I was lucky and snagged this as open box.

Bought this 6-disc CD player as a replacement for a Sony 5-disc player that worked wonderfully for over 30 years. The new player works great! Easy to connect to my sound system. Smooth transition between discs. Remote is easy to use. Only downside is the size. It’s quite deep… add about an inch to the dimensions in order to accommodate the audio cables. I measured to fit on one of my cabinet shelves, and it just made the cut. Then I plugged in the audio cables and it stuck out a bit too far. Had to set it on top of my cabinet instead of on a shelf. Really enjoying listening to my CD collection again. Again… 5 stars… works great!

I purchased an onxyo 6 cd player and a sony stereo receiver. Both are easy to use and have great features. I especially like the fact that the receiver has Bluetooth capability . The cd player is very easy to use and sounds fantastic.

I was hesitant in making this purchase since it is the only new multi-disc player I could find after looking for over a year. When it went on sale, I finally pulled the trigger and made the purchase. It’s a good looking unit with easy to follow installation and operating instructions and it’s face looks great when illuminated. It sounds terrific through my older Marantz amplifier and Boston Acoustics surround speakers. The only caveat is it’s size at 17 x 17 inches, it may not fit in a good number of cabinets. A great purchase.

This CD changer has a reliable carousel mechanism, produces excellent sound with its internal DAC and is easy to use. I just wish the remote control buttons were larger.

Great CD player. Easy to use and very good features like the random play. This replaced a CD player that cost more than twice this Onkyo and the quality and sound is every bit as good.

Have recently upgraded my 2-channel stereo and unpacked my turntable and vinyl records from the 1970s and early 80s. Not wanting to treat the CDs in collected as an afterthought, I've added this changer to the system. Have done the research and indicates are the DAC in this Onkyo changer is by far the best found intricate price range. This changer sounds great; very happy so far. Would have preferred the single disc unit, this one was available at a very good price. I may get another as a future replacement since it looks like CDs (and CD players) are going the way of the dinasour.
