Needed new receiver for new 4K tv. Upgrade from standard audio receiver to simple home entertainment receiver. HDMI, Blue tooth connectivity, great price,good power output. Everything I need in home entertainment system.

This receiver was a vast improvement due to the old receiver I use to have. But I wanted one with the most bang for my buck, and I'm pretty pleased with what I got, specially now that I can connect thru Bluetooth.

Good receiver for the price. Picked it up when BB had it $50 off. Would like to have more than 4 HDMI inputs, but that's hard to find in this price range. I can't comment on the 4K aspect, as I haven't gotten a 4K TV yet, but the 1080p picture quality is excellent, I run a Tivo Roamio, new Apple TV, a PS3 and a Fire TV box through it and they all look great. The on screen menu (once I found it) is a bit lacking, and looks like it's from the 1980's. The auto speaker calibration with the included microphone was a nice bonus. I put the mic on the chair I normally sit in and let it go through it's setup. If you are looking for a decent receiver and don't need all the bells and whistles the $500+ once have, this Onkyo will serve your needs well.

original choice wasn't available but this model was and has proven to be just what i needed. Price was very good and the sales support was outstanding as always!

Purchased to replace an older Onkyo receiver. Updated features and ARC compatible. Now only one HDMI cable is needed to go from unit to TV. **Note you will need a high speed HDMI cable to work with ARC system.

Perfect for my set up. I use it with the Bose Accoustimads Series 6 which is perfect for my size room. Moderate size 18' x 11'. This system is very simple to hook up and gives you everything you need

Onkyo is awesome and so is this product. My only concern is that the unit keeps shutting off randomly when the volume gets too loud. This may be an ohms issue. Overall the unit is easy to use and is great quality.

This company is always at the top of all receivers on the market. This is a simplified recevier for those just wanting good sound for 5.1. If you need atmos and 7.2 capabilities look at higher end models.

Bought this because I needed a receiver for out in the garage. Hook-up was simple and device works great. Bluetooth connection to my iPhone is instant and let's me listen to my playlist outside.

I was looking for a new receiver to replace the one that broke on my bose system. It has been able to keep my bose system sounding great. Best part was that I got it for $99 as an open box!

This receiver is awesome and more than expected. I purchased it for my home theater and it puts out some powerful times. The sound is solid with no noticing distortion. I would highly recommend.

This is my 3rd Onkyo receiver and they just get better every time. I only replaced my previous one because I purchased a 4K tv and needed a receiver with HDMI 2.2 pass through. Excellent product!

Bought 2 of these one for home to replace old type 5.1 reciver. No hdmi ins or out. Bose speakers sound great. The same for my motorhome also with Bose surround speakers. Very great sounding.

I was looking for a receiver that was simple to use as I was hooking it up for my mom. The button are big and readable. It was easily connected to the DVD player and cable and works great.

easy set-up. numerous options, great sound. had a little trouble when it was set up, called the company, needed to be reset, whole process from phone call to a fix was under 10 minutes

I love this receiver. It has all of the features that I was looking for. Like 4K pass through, 3D pass through, and plenty of power. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it.

I needed to replace an old 80's Sony receiver for a small room. The Onkyo was perfect and the price was great. Sound is awesome and it has all the bells and whistles that I was looking for.

I bought this receiver to use with my Sony speakers but now I see it need an active subwoofer. I'm in Brazil right now and I can't change, but it's really good receiver. I recommend.

I bought this as a present to my brother. He enjoys it and it's a good setup up from his older receiver that didn't have HDMI. He's not a techy, but was able to get it up and running.

Needed this for basement sound system after old one failed. i am not an audiophile but this sounds good and allowed my son to connect his iphone via bluetooth. Just right for this purpose.
