This receiver was easy to set up and use. The sound quality is very good. Haven't used the 5.1 feature yet but should be very good. Connecting a turn table and two speakers has produced excellent sound.

Of course I've never owned a receiver that costs upwards of $1,000, but I think this one sounds great in my man cave and is packed with features that surprised me at this price point. Very happy.

Love this reciever!!!! Replaced my old sony!!!! Worked great with my speakers and bluetooth is amazing!!!! I highly recommend. Never heard of name, took a chance an its awesome!! A def buy!!

For the Most Part... my Mistake in not doing a full investigation of it before i bought it.. it is not Compatible Via USB with my Ipod Classic... had i known this up front i would of kept looking.... i can sync my Touch Via Blue Tooth.... but i have 13000+ songs on my Classic... and Really wanted it for that... i can do the RCA in the Cd option and it works But... again... i wanted a better hook up and I had hoped on screen prompts and Control..... my Car Stereo has it and I assumed... after that its Great... easy Set up... i have a small surround set of speakers set up and it sounds Good.. .and i will invest in Better standing speakers in the Future....

Very reliable and multiple HDMI inputs. Bluetooth is consistent and reliable. Great value. Certainly not the most feature packed, or cutting edge, but very strong and reliable

Basic hook ups for 4K tv and 4K player. Passes hdr and has Bluetooth to play music off of smart phones. No network hookups, but no concerns over updates failing and locking up the receiver.

replaced my old onyko receiver,great unit not youre falt but I was sad to see,even before I bought it,that onyko has elimated the rear panel electrical ac outlet.that really ment a lot,having a sony 300 disc cd player because I could link the 2 together,thats why I didn't rate it a 5

If you're not looking for a full 7 channel surround system, this reciever will do the job in full HD. Sounds great, and pushes enough for our 4k tv. Very happy with this purchase.

Works exactly as described. Produces excellent sound and surrounder sound quality. Bluetooth option is a plus. Great price and system for someone starting out in home theater.

Great sound, easy to set up, and lots of input options; HDMI, RCA, USB, Bluetooth, etc. I'm powering 4 speakers + a subwoofer and it provides great sound at a good price.

I purchased this receiver for my bedroom, yes I know , "overkill", but I have a large bedroom. It was perfect. Sounds great, easy to setup, and a no-brainer to operate.

Easy to setup. Works with Xfinity X1 and Logitech remotes! Good sound quality. The best part is that I haven't had to think about it since initial setup was completed.

Easy to set up and use. Run my tv, Direct TV, home theater speakers and DVD player through this receiver. It's also Bluetooth capable! Love it!

For an entry level receiver this thing is great. Great sound, very detailed. Another great feature of Onkyo is the upconverting of standard video. I haven't found this on any other brand. The only adjustment I made after running the auto sound set up is to bump up the sub a couple of notches. Other than that the transparency is so clear you feel as though your right there in the studio or theater. My only gripe is when listening to a cd I would like to see the picture from my DVR. I am praying that Onkyo has finally fixed there WEAK capacitor problem!! Probably should have bought the extended warranty.

I had a old yamaha which was out dated. I needed a stereo with Bluetooth capability. This one sounds great and user friendly to navigate through the different modes.

Great addition to new home and sound system. Love the built in bluetooth and how simple it is to use. Great for house party's or to enjoy a movie with the family

I love this receiver. The sounds quality with my JBL speaker is fantastic! Easy to use and helped me get rid of HDMI switches within its 4 input HDMI ports.

This has worked perfectly and provided me with many options for use of my excellent speakers and TV system. And, it was very reasonably priced.

Easy setup, so easy I bought two! Perfect for my game room upstairs & downstairs family room. Surround sound is great! Bluetooth w/ iPhone works well too!

Set up was very easy, but the only reason why I give it 4 stars is that it wont read songs from my ipod. will only read music that's on a usb stick.
