I hooked up this amplifier to my TV with in built speakers and a sub-woofer. Delivers great sound and is easy to hook up and use. Perfect !

This product produces great sound for my LG TV, surround sound, and blu-ray player. It is a good looking unit and easy to install.

Reading the reviews before we purchased a HTS Onkyo rated high, and after a few weeks using this receiver through Polk audio 5.1 speakers, it has lived up to my expectations. Great sound quality and functionality. The auto calibration is a nice tool as well. I initially wanted a 7.1 setup but the one I wanted was sold out (Black Friday) so I settled for 5.1. Only thing I would change would be more legacy inputs for our older game systems. But we are very happy with the combination of Onkyo receiver and Polk speakers.

Works great easy to set up great sound and power looks great

I'm not one of those people with 20 speakers and ultra surround sound that shakes your soul. I wanted something we can easily hook to the TV, add the VHS (yes, I still have one), DVD player, game system, and listen to the radio if something's on we want. This receiver fits the bill. I've had Onkyo products in the past. The back is well labeled for the connections, the 'cheat sheet' that shows various combinations of connections and suggestions is helpful, and everything is easy to read.

No issues to report plenty of power and quality sound. Really enjoyed the self programming feature for surround sound set up.

Best in store brand. 700w has proven to be more than enough for our 38x18 room. Sound is crisp and pass throughs are a bonus.

I have a 4k tv and DVD wanted to get a 4k reciever and so far it is very good used my old speakers and sub it's a 5/1 setup

We needed a new receiver, and decided to get this when we got our 4K TV. The pass-through allows you to connect your individual devices to it, and then you just run a single HDMI cable to your TV's port! No more running out of space on the side of your TV! As with all receivers, it has a bit of a learning curve to set up. Watch a few videos if you're not sure how to do it, as the directions can be hard to follow.

Replaced a much older, more complex Yamaha receiver. The set up on this was simple. Great quality sound and simple to use.

There are so many options when shopping for a surround sound receiver at Best Buy. Honestly, it is a bit overwhelming. I wanted quality sound, but not at a premium price. I found an associate and explained my set up. He asked me a couple of questions and walked me over to this receiver. The price was in my budget so I took a chance. I have not regretted it. Even my wife, who is not into electronics, has commented on how good it sounds. So, this baby gets 4 thumbs up.
