This receiver has plenty of power and loaded with features. There is a lot of bang for the buck with this!

Love all features including 4K, really like the automatic sound setup & ability to adjust volume on each speaker especially surround. Output power is decent but the way is listed is disarming as 7 is needed to be divided into total power. But it upgraded my system from 6.1 to 7.2 and most importantly brought me up to date with smart tv and 4K Firestick

Easy set up. Online manual is complete and understandable. I mostly use for music. It does a great job.

I use this to stream 4k and it works great. Has enough hdmi slots to handle everything for my home setup.

Needed to update receiver when purchased 4 k tv. great price, easy setup, only drawback was it does not have amazon music on net programs.

Finally upgraded my whole sound system after 15 years of use with a HT in a box. Used this AVR with Polk speakers and WOW. The whole experience is life-changing. I look forward to watching everything in my home theater now. Video games sound amazing. Even old DVD's sound great in surround sound with the Dolby Surround setting or DTS Neo X which outputs certain sounds to the ceiling speakers I installed. Absolutely amazing.

Bought to replace a Denon. Easy to use and doesn't run hot like the last Onkyo I had. Sound is good.

I have owned Onkyo receivers since the 90s. I was shocked by how much better it sounded when I replaced a Sony receiver with one. Since then I haven't looked back. This receiver was a nice upgrade to that supports Dolby Atmos and DTX:X to use with my new Atmos speakers. I have been impressed with how good it sounds and the Atmos adds more immersiveness. I have been pleased with the quality and value of the receiver.

After considerable research we choose The Onkyo. The set up was easy. There is a great deal of flexibility in how the speakers are arranged we chose one of the Atmos layouts and love it The availability of phono inputs not requiring a preamp is also a big part of this units appeal, the remote is easy to understand and with the on screen menus set up and control is a snap,

Nice power home theater and good value. Prior Yamaha partially crapped out after a few years modest use.
