6x HDMI in (with HDR) says it all. My kids’ PS4 Pro, PS3, Nintendo Switch, and my Apple TV, camcorder HDMI, and other inputs, means this thing is very much up to the times. It syncs via Bluetooth to my phone, and has a front HDMI and audio jack input. It has everything I could have ever wanted in an upgrade. Sad to see it discontinued ☹️. It even programs itself for your sound space

Onkyo TX-7.2 Receiver was an easy set up with great features and sounds great!

I needed to drive a pair of stereo speakers (rated at 100W RMS per channel)...this A/V receiver has been great since it's rated power output for 8 ohm speakers with 2 channels driven is 100W/ch. The AccuEq is nowhere as good as Audessy EQ so you will need to tweak the settings manually for levels and getting the sound to be good but once you make these changes, the audio will feel incredible!

I like this receiver, easy to install, sound quality is great and its nice pricey.

I needed a new receiver that handled 4k correctly and this Onkyo not only fit the bill but it was on sale! I didn't see any degradation of picture quality running my 4k Blu Ray player and Roku through this unit and out to my TV. Sounds great and being able to play my Flac music files using USB and having a jazzy on screen display was just icing on the cake for me. I love this Onkyo so far!

This AV Receiver has a lot of features for the price. It has all kinds of connectivity and decoding options. The only thing I wish it had was Bluetooth Transmitting to headphones. It has Bluetooth connectivity to receive from other devices like a phone but cannot transmit to headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. Other than that it's great. It has awesome surround sound - much cleaner than my old Sony had.

For the price it works very well. Lots of features and the movie surround sound is great

This receiver had all the bells and whistles were were looking for in an entertainment hub. It's great for streaming music, and handling all of our AV components. We appreciate that it can take firmware updates, and roll with future technology changes. Sound quality is excellent and the Onkyo app works well too for controlling this anchor to our home entertainment system.

The sound on this receiver is fantastic. It also has incredible wireless features which is the reason I bought it. The only problem I have is it sometimes switches on after I turn it off and the audio return channel sound which at one point did work now does not and I cannot get it to switch back. I’ve tried everything. I’m not sure what settings were changed to make it not work but it’s very frustrating because it’s one of the reasons I bought this receiver.

Excellent Product! Easy to Set up! Sounds Great! I went from a 5.1 to 7.2.

Purchased about 3 weeks ago and so far the sound and power seem good but the user interface could use improvement. I cant find a way to easily switch the different EQ's that I set up so I have to go into the on screen menu every time (which is daily because I set them up with different bass levels when people are sleeping). I also wish the surround modes were easier to toggle through. I'd still recommend it if you plan to keep the settings the same all the time.

Bought this receiver during the Black Friday sales and have been very pleased with it. It supports a lot of the latest technologies including Dolby Atmos. I have paired it with the 4K Apple TV box and a 4K Samsung TV and the picture/sound are outstanding. A very nice receiver that won't break the bank.

Bought for exterior room and exterior pool speakers. Sound is awesome, good power.

When I say budget I'm referring to the fact that I bought this for less than $300 and I haven't been able to find ANYTHING even close to this price for the amount of options that this things provides. This upgraded a lesser version of the same receiver that I've had for several years now and the sound is sooo much better coming out of this thing. Very pleased purchase.
