Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not an audiofile but needed to replace a 15 yr old receiver that was the heart of my home theater and provided music throughout my house via "B" speakers. it took me awhile to figure it out but the zone 2 feature is more flexible to use than "B" speakers albeit a bit more complex. the receiver works well with my new Sony TV - the tv controls the receiver for tv sound while I can play from a different source in zone 2. 3 weeks in and so far performing well.

Best Receiver I have ever owned

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Onkyo IMO is the best for the price, Owned 2 receiver the first one I had for 14 years and run hard daily but it was time to update so I got this about 1 1/2 ago and it has been Amazing, again run it hard daily powering a 5.2.2 system with Sony Core Series Speakers and one Klipsch 10" sub and one Sony 10" sub. Shakes the house and no distorted clean sound both movies and music.
