Excellent Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a pioneer that I've had for several years. Loving the 5.1.2 setup with Dolby Atmos. The built in streaming services such as Pandora work really great (no longer have to use my echo dot) and controlling both zone 1 and 2 from my phone works great! Very happy with this purchase.

Great for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great receiver for the price. When first set up, I thought I would have to return due to issues with negotiating 4k @ 60hz. Thanks to a review on this site, I was able to enable enhanced mode and all is working great now. Knocked off a star due to the need to include the information about the enhanced mode in the documentation somewhere.

Excellent choice for a home theater receiver
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit is an excellent choice for a home theater setup. Flexible input options including streaming services. The powered zone 2 allows you to power remote speakers from a separate source from the main zone. I replaced an older onkyo. The addition of thx surround is great!

Onkyo Works well with 4k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a high end 75 inch TV and wanted to get true 4k experiences and upscaling. I had an old Yamaha that had served me well but was not able to work with 4k. The menu is intuitive although I'm not sure if we really needed internet connectivity. Sound performance was excellent and it connects well with all of my newer gear. Highly reccomend.

handles home theater and multi-tasks seamlessly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a number of devices and media being handled by this Onkyo. I would also recommend a universal Logitech remote to pair up with the Onkyo, if you have multiple items being supported e.g. tv, home theater, Firestick, music, etc

A good A/V reciever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up, but I miss having the manual coming with the box, you have to go to the Onkyo website to view it. I use a Logitech Harmony remote, but the remote that came with the unit seems easy enough to use if needed. Overall I am happy with my choice, replacing my 10 year old Onkyo TX unit with this one.

Great after...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.... we worked out the kinks from bugs relating to Samsung's q8 software. Took a few tries and resets but not it works perfectly. Able to process 4k hdr content in all listed audio codecs. Handles our 7.2 speaker system very well.
