its definetly worth the money .. its got lots of power

I bought this to power my 2 American Accoustic speakers. Each box houses a sub, a 12" speaker, a 5" speaker and 2 tweety-bird speakers. This receiver does the job beautifully. I can make every neighbor in the neighborhood mad now. It was on sale and super easy to set up.

Easy installation even with older speakers and TV.

Very happy with this purchase. Setup was a breeze. Only complaint at all is that the chromecast is audio only... And that's really nitpicky... It would make a lot more sense to offer video since I run my big TV off it.

A warning for speaker wire installation, A Real pain. The screw-in wire connectors are way too close, to see and use of fingers during the installation process, is a real problem. That, and I miss a full manual, for info and for other issues. Otherwise, a great purchase for approx $250.

We replaced our old Onkyo 5.1 receiver with this new one as the old one was going out. The only complaint I have about the new one is you have to turn the sound up a lot higher than the old one. We use to listen to the old one in the 40's sound range, this one we have to tune in the high 50's range.

Other stereo FM didn't work so I had 4 years on that warranty, so I got the update stereo and had too pay for another warranty. Not too Happy with your salesperson and manager. I will not send anyone too your company!.

Love it. I would buy it again. One of the things I like about this receiver is that I can control it from my phone. Another thing I like is that I can listen to TV in the house and music on my patio while I am grilling

Works like a charm. Just don't use gift cards from BEST BUY They won't honor reward points you are suppose to receive from large purchases. WHAT A joke of a company. I will never recommend Best Buy again to anyone

Best options for me are the phone app and 2 HDMI outputs. The power in this receiver is marginal. As other reviews stated the listening volume is around 50-60 and the max is 75. Not sure why the power is so limited, which is my biggest knock on this receiver. My previous 25 year old Kenwood had more power. I was tempted to return this item due to the degradation in power and richness in sound, but I really needed dual HDMI outputs and the modern applications for the phone and USB audio are a plus. Also wish it had a front USB port. Overall this did not satisfy my sound requirement but the extras will make me keep this item. But I do miss my room being filled with great sound quality now it is just marginal. I am settling rather than being completely satisfied.

Great quality dual zone receiver! We love the front panel controls for the menu AND the second zone! Great if you lost the remote! always purchase the 4 year geek squad coverage with any receiver you get.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband! It took about an hour to set up as a replacement for our old set, but was well worth the time. Need I say the volume levels are perfect for his movie and my music concert viewing options.

The only issue I have with Onkyo is when their product falters, and they know some of their units have had bad sound boards or chips, the price to fix them is almost as much as a new unit. And that's were we are right now.

No trouble so far. Been using the product for about 1 years. Customer service is excellent. Easy to sync with Xbox one x module controller for remote. need not to do any explict setting for Dolby atmos. Worth the money.

Installed yesterday and it took a lot longer than expected. WiFi set took a very long time to connect even after the system listed it. Still trying to lock in a FM radio station manually as the scan keep bypassing it.

I bought this to replace a 9 year old Onkyo that had a bad hdmi port. This has Chromecast audio built in, which is awesome. It was a breeze to setup and there is an app for my Pixel for me to control the volume and settings.

Previously had a sony receiver that didnt have 4k audio capabilities. So when we upgraded our TV, it was time to upgrade the surround sound. This device was the best rated and best features for what I was looking for!!

Excellent 7.2 entry model. Upgraded from a 5.1 to 7.1 and love it. I am now able to take advantage of all the speakers and with Atmos tracks. The additional connectivity with Spotify and other apps is a great.

Some of the features are a little difficult to work with, but overall this is a great receiver.

I bought this receiver for my husband for Christmas. I was worried if our old speakers would be compatible, but hook up was quick and easy. Also we don't have cable and are now getting so many more channels.
