Hook-up, Start-up and unit functions (that I am using) are all working as anticipated. If it continues to perform without trouble for the next ten years (as my old receiver did), I would bump rating up to excellent.

With that price, I couldn’t pass it up. I added two more atmos speakers, and the audio fidelity alone was worth the price!

I like Onkyo and still own another receiver. I was expecting a little more for the price. I think it will work fine with most home theater environments but I decided to spend the extra money for a Magnolia product.

This had everything I wanted in a A/V receiver, except for sound output. It works fine but the level of sound output is rather disappointing. I am used to receivers blasting the house down when you get the sound at level 10, but at level 10, I get nothing in the way of sound. I don't see sound until I get around 25-30 and if streaming Netflix or other streaming services, well try level 50-60. IF the sound output was better this would be an awesome receiver. You would do better to choose a YAMAHA or SONY receiver if you want sound output.

This receiver was really simple to set up and has all the inputs you need. With the supplied mic the speaker calibration was a piece of cake. Much better and easier than my last home theater receiver.

Simply put, the best home theater receiver for the money. Excellent options all the way from 4K HDR Support up to 9.1, and every legacy connection needed as well.

Really fills the room with sound with all the speaker channels hooked up. Doesn't matter if it's music or movies and the Polk Audio S series handles the power

I really wanted to keep this avr. but the spying I can do with out. It would be nice if it could be disabled but it can't. Returned and will try a Yamaha or Denon.

Sounded awesome for 4 months then lost both front and center speakers. I had to pay $60 to ship to onkyo to get repaired.

Ok, yeah it good, but my issue still exist connecting to my 4K OLED TV, the 4K passthru just doesn't seem to work right. Disappointed, but I kept it anyway.

My only objection is the HDCP protections that apply to HDMI-out #2 prohibiting certain images from being displayed on two screens simultaneously.

This is a great receiver and I'm glad I didn't review it when I bought it because I just now added a zone 2 for my back porch and it works great!

Upgraded from a Rca receiver to the Onkyo. Has the built in music apps getting to use. And it can be controlled with your cable remote.

Hello, My ten years old receiver that's part of home theater system suddenly one day decided to stop working and hence bought this one as it was on sale. The setup is a bit tricky, be prepared to have loads of patience to do it. Once the unit was configured there are many features provided that I still have to experience. In all, a good quality unit for that price point. Thanks!!

In my opinion this was the best 9.2 reciever after looking at several receivers. It was worth the money your going to spend.

Replacing the Onkyo 757 with this model for the additional two channels Dolby Atmos 5.2.4 setup sounds awesome plenty of power

I had problems connecting to my 4K projector, but this solved my problem. No more handshake issues!
