solid receiver with many options, I have not had any problems

This receiver was a good replacement for the one I had that became un useable. So for it has done its job. The only other thing that would be good with this unit would be to have more instruction on the setup once it is hooked up.

I have tried Denon, Yamaha and Pioneer before this Onkyo receiver and the Onkyo to me was the best for watching movies. Great dynamic range even in medium volume. The other receivers needed to operate on high volume to get same dynamic range.

This product has great audio quality and is well built. The hdmi output did not work out of the box which rendered it useless as i was attempting to replace a 13 yr old Denon that i paid $1200 at dealer net for. I needed a new model to be able to pass 4k and to stop using optical out from the TV to the receiver. With my current setup it sometimes didn't line up lips with sound or voice. I returned this item and have not yet repurchased a replacement. Might give this one another try in the not so distant future because i liked all its features.

Love my new receiver. The tech’s that came out were very knowledgeable and courteous. Answered all my questions. Unit does everything that I wanted plus much more I didn’t know about.

This Onkyo is ranked top for 2020 for a reason. Can handle any size speaker and has a great setup menu for optimal sound performance. I am running very high end Klipschs on this system and it handles it without a sweat.

Can’t go wrong with onkyo. Can get extremely loud to the point that your ears hurt in a fairly large living room and doesn’t distort my klipsch speakers at all.

This is my second Onkyo receiver. The other one lasted more than 12 years.

The Onkyo 696 is the BEST receiver to pair with Klipsch RP-280F speakers. The audio output is just on a different level compared to the Onkyo 393 that's now getting bumped to my garage speakers.

Great product & everything was inside the box like its supposed to.

The receiver was easy to hook up and has functioned well except for dropping Bluetooth signal in middle of use. This has occurred consistently but easy to reconnect.

Only drawback was having a very hard time with setting it up. Unfortunately my Sonos soundbar was not compatible with this Onkyo receiver. Customer service was great however.

Best ever. This is my 3rd Onkyo over 25 years. The unit seems to look the same, but the new adjustment selections are noticeable and dynamic. A great selection, but I wish they would include a manual for reference. Had to create my own select pages and print them so I could reference them while learning and making my adjustments,

Dont buy this junk, had it less than a year, remote just stopped working....buy anything but ONKYIO....TOTAL CRAP ...SAVE YOUR MONEY...buy YAMAHA OR SONY.....total peice of sxit !!!!!!

Disappointed. I have been an ONKYO fan for years and bought this unit to modernize from my current ONKYO unit. This unit is packed with features including Dolby Atmos. However, I feel that the unit is under powered. I decided to return the unit. But, then saw that it was 2 days after the 15-day return window (I feel that's a pretty short window).

I am a fan of Onkyo . This thing rocked right up to the lighting strike. Love the Best Buy extended warranty. Totally recommend both the receiver and the warranty.

Great unit! Love this unit! Works well with Apple TV and old speakers. Had an older version, but one of the ports stopped working. Glad to know that Onkyo brand stays a good brand.
