Had Onkyo products in the past and after researching decided on another. So glad we went with this one! Great reviver for the price range - Onkyo never fails to impress!

Great entertainment room receiver

Great Home Theater Receiver

With 6 hdmi inputs I can connect all my devices to my Sony 4k tv. Great picture and sound to match. And with separate area I can play music on my patio while watching tv in the family room.

Onkyo 696 Receiver

I have to turn the sound way up to hear them clear, but then when there is an action scene it is ridiculously loud so I have to turn it down and up all the time. There is an option to turn the center channel DB up, but again, its just to loud when there are action scenes. I also tried the night mode, but it is still the same situation as stated above.

Sound is great and very versatile. Looks good and plays well worthwhile investigate.
