Onkyo Is a Keeper

Failed unit

Remote seemed of decent quality, and the unit was able to be controlled via the buttons on the front of the receiver which is always a nice touch. Unfortunately my unit failed within two weeks of ownership. These things happen with these devices so I don’t want to drag Onkyos name through the mud. I returned it (for a full refund, thank you Best Buy) and picked up a Marantz SR5015, more money than I wanted to spend but when the Onkyo failed it reminded me just how important the receiver is for your home theatre set up, so it’s worth splurging on.

Very nice receiver
