I recently switched over to Ooma about a month ago and it's been working great. I ported my existing landline number over (paid a one time fee) and it only took about a few days to finalize. As long as my internet is working, the Ooma works. Now I only pay minimal tax/fees to have phone service instead of a monthly plan from a local company!

The Ooma was a gamble because I have internet in my mom's house and she hardly uses the phone. Thus, instead of buying another phone line, I just bought the Telo and plugged in her old phone base and extra handset. It worked like a charm. The reception is fine as long as the internet is working well and I would say the quality is good. Plus, I love that I can just hear the voicemails left on my smartphone or tablet. Works very well. 4.5 stars.

This is a review of my initial Ooma experience. I recently switched from AT&T VOIP to the Ooma Telo. Sign up took about 20 minutes because I was reading all of the options, otherwise it would have been less. The set up is easy and the Telo had no problems updating software and making a connection. Right away the calls were clear and worked as promised. I was amazed how fast my home phone number was ported from AT&T to Ooma. Just two and a half business days. So far a great initial experience.

Works well so far. Purchase was easy and so was the setup. I just moved my phone number over from the local cable provider and will break even and start saving $15+ a month within about 8 months. .

Easy set up and cheap monthly plan for a landline.

About a month into ownership. Set up was straight forward. The Ooma website is intuitive. We ported our number and that want smoothly in about 2 weeks. Overall very happy.

I love this system . I have had no problems with it and it was so easy to set up. It is clear sounding no static.

I had the old ooma back in the 2010 or 2011. Old ooma work good for a while til power is dead. Bought a new one and it is great and neater than old one. Easy to set up and follow the instruction.

Customer service was exceptionally good. Much better than Vonage. VoIP is very clear. Have not used it long enough to elaborate on other features.

Pay under $7 a month to use! I've had one since 2015 and have saved hundreds of dollars a year. I bought this one as a gift for my brother and sister-in-law. They love it too. Their bill went from $75 a month to $6.34 a month!

Was leery of over the internet phone service but so pleasantly surprised at the Ooma experience. Setup was easy and the call clarity is great! No lag or call drop at all. I recommend this product.

Works like a charm. Previous one lasted about 6+ years. Needed their help to transfer my account from the old device to the new one, but they completed that in about 30 min.

This is second time I have purchased this item! Very happy with performance, easy to install. Excellent records of calls, both incoming and outgoing! Power outage does knock out service though. Plan accordingly.

The service worked well while I had it but was challenging to cancel once I no longer needed it. You cannot port the number out to free services like Google Voice, and they require you to call their overseas support center to cancel. This involved 5 separate prompts followed by a 10 minute hold time, and then a pushy salesman pleading for me to keep the service. Finally, I had to tell him that I was calling my state Consumer Protection division before he would cancel the service.

This is a great product that works as described. It replaced an old ooma device that had operated for about 12 years so the setup had to be done with phone support. A little bit of a hassle. But great quality and savings.- ooma telo VOIP

Great product. Works smoothly. I used vonage previously and the sound quality is as good as vonage but I paid a lot more for vanage for the same service. I would highly recommend Ooma. The country I mostly call is not included in the international plan and thus my only suggestion to Omma is to expand the international plan by including more countries in the plan.

ooma works great! It is very easy to set up and call quality is excellent.

This was a replacement for our Vonage VoIP service that wasn't operating properly and Vonage could not fix. Ooma was easy to install and porting our phone number over took less than 2 weeks. Aside from the Ooma system not having the problems we had with Vonage, it costs less (even with the Premium srvice we opted for). My only minor complaint is that I can't seem to record a clear outgoing voicemail message. Voice conversations are very clear.
