Quality as good as ATT at 1/10th the price

So far as good as ATT at a tenth the price. Setup was relatively easy and works well with my Vtech cordless phones. Porting the old phone number took two weeks but I got the date of changeover within a few seconds of registering the Ooma. Unwanted call blocking is not a granular as I'd like but the ability to see call logs and voicemail on my computer is nice. Be sure to use the 2 weeks while awaiting the switchover to play with the setup as it's not particularly user friendly.

We decided to try OOMA Telo to reduce our phone cost compared to Xfinity voice. Install and connect were very easy. We have had a couple quirks to get used to, but the voice quality is comparable to Xfinity's cable voice service. Occasionally a call is dropped when we answer it. This seems to happen less frequently if we allow it to ring more than twice before answering.

    Bye Bye Comcast

In an attempt to shrink my Comcast monthly bill, I looked into changing from a triple play package with phone service to a double play without phone service. There are many alternatives for phone service and Ooma was ranked at the top in many. I bought the machine and ported my old phone number for about $150 and this will pay for itself in about6 months. The phone works as well as it ever has, speech is just perfect. There are 'blacklists' which Ooma has which stops crank calls and my phone has quieted down to a very acceptable level with NO calls from anyone who I don't know which is a major plus that I had not expected. Total satisfaction so far. My monthly cost is about $6 which varies by locality and the tax and fee rates. I have the basic Ooma and not the Premier version which adds $10 a month to the cost but adds many additional features that I do not need personally.

I purchased this product about a month ago. It was easy to set up and I was able to transfer my current phone number with Comcast in about 3 days. The feature I like the most is blocking annoying calls from telemarketers. My calls are very clear now compared to Comcast and the phone app works great too.

for the cost of the ooma device, you get monthly landline phone service for as little as 0 dollars a month. you buy the ooma device which is easy to install. first, activate the device. then, connect the device to your router and your phone. an easy installation booklet is included. your phone service is thru the internet. other plans cost less than 15 dollars per month and cover adding cell phones. you can keep your number for 40 dollars. i think there is a device which keeps your phone working during internet outages. have had ooma for years and bought this device for second home.

Ooma Telo is an excellent product! It is very easy to setup and activate. I have been using it over a month without a single negative experience. I love the superior sound quality versus my old landline of fifteen years. Now no more phone bills from my local phone company! Can't believe the savings! And Ooma Customer Service is great!

We are saving $42.00/month using Ooma over Service Electric 'bundled' phone service. The clarity is great with absolutely no issues at all. Set-up was very simple. Our phone bill now is $3.83/month for taxes. That's it!

We had a bundle of services at our weekend house from Comcast: TV, Internet, and Phone. After the initial introductory cost expired, the service became very expensive for little use. So we decided to reduce the TV package, keep good internet, and get rid of the phone service. We decided to get VoIP phone service and ordered the Ooma Telo. What a great savings for an equally good phone service. Ooma was easy to set up. Sound quality is excellent. Voice mail is very good as well. Oooma offers a pemium package for $9.95 per month with a 90 day free trial. This has some nice features, but we decided to cancel the premium service after the 90-day free trial since we are not at the house often enough to justify the expense.

We were tired of paying the high AT&T phone bills, getting poor service and finally decided to dump the land line. We really like it! Great customer service, easy set-up, good sound quality. Actually the sound quality is better than the land line. Should have switched a lot earlier! Highly recommended.

I bought the Ooma Telo for my parents after I helped them cut the cord from cable. The installation and account set-up was simple - only took about 20 minutes and they were ready to go. Call quality is great, they love it.

The item is valuable product there is a $5-10/ mo charge for taxes and fees you find out about. But overall the install is straightforward, the setup works, voice quality is acceptable, the only thing is an extra charge per mo or 1 time for genuinely useful features like porting, call blocking and call forwarding.

It was very easy set up and to verify the set up the customer service was outstanding walking me through to make sure all the wires were connected to the right ports because we connected to a modem and a router. It allowed us to no longer ahve a land line saving some money. Post installation it works great with clear voice quality.

I purchased this to reduce my cable bill by replacing my cable VOIP phone service. I reviewed several other options (Vonage, MagicJack, etc) and chose Ooma. I also opted for the premium service to get the additional features like porting my existing phone number. The premium service cost $99 for a year and included the existing phone number port. It was easy to set up. The support hot line was very helpful. I also like the software interface. My monthly bill is now less than $5. Even with the premium service I am less than $15/month. I have been using it for a month and a half now and haven't had a moment of down time. The calls are clear. I am pleased with the product, software, and service.

Great Voice reproduction with good clarity and tone qualities. Easy setup which took a little while to work through but straight forward. Very quick response to retaining our "old phone number," which they say may take up to 30 days, but in fact was converted over within 48 hours.

Love Ooma. Had service for over 10 years; although, this is my third Telo, so previous one lasted 5 years each, on average.
