This is our second Ooma and we have saved a lot of money using this service. Reception is great, calls are clear and there are great add-on options for even more convenience.

Great product! Wish we would have switched sooner. Easy set up, you can keep your current number if you want , or you can pick your new number. You get caller ID, call waiting and unlimited long distance for just the cost of the tax, which ours is $4.00 per month.

    Didn't work for me

I really wanted this Ooma to work. My phone bill was getting way too high. The installation was moderately easy; however, after install, I could only receive calls, but could not call out. I contacted Ooma customer service, they escalated the matter to their tech department and the next day someone called me. The woman on the line said, "Oh, you can receive calls, so I guess everything is working fine?" Apparently, no one gave her the message that the problem was with the outgoing calls. She said she would get back to me, but instead, closed the case. After two more phone calls to Oooma, and no resolution, I finally gave up and cancelled the service. In the mean time, they charged me for the monthly taxes, even though the service never worked. The good news is that I ended up giving MagicJack a try. Even though everybody told me it would never work; I had it set up in minutes, and my old number ported over in four days. I am so grateful for Best Buy's return policy. They took the Oooma back with a full refund - Thank you!

I got tired of paying Comcast $30 a month for a sub par telephone service. I did some research and decided to purchase an Ooma, great decision. Set up was quick and great customer service. Our calls are very clear and we only pay taxes for 911 service, less then $5 a month! Save money and much better service!

Www have had the original Ooma Telo for many years (probably 8). It's worked well, and customer service has been consistently excellent. When the old unit failed we decided to get the new version. We are Premier subscribers, and the simplify of making 3 way calls is worth the upgrade alone. Highly recommend.

Instructions for installation and setup was easy enough for a novice to accomplish it. It took only a few days to port my old landline number over to the new service. There has been no noticeable degradation in audio quality. Very happy with the purchase (and the future savings over landline charges).

Went in to buy Magic Jack and walked out with Ooma. The sound quality is absolutely the best. The only knock that I have is that there is a delay that occurs when picking up an incoming call. But for the money saved....I can deal with this small problem.

This is a great product. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to setup and the customer service has been great. We were able to keep the same home phone number that we have had for 20 years and the process went very smoothly - it only took a few days to transition our home phone number from CenturyLink to Ooma.

We didn't really want a home phone line, but our cell reception is terrible where we live. So we got Ooma and it works great. Less than $5 a month and provides the security that we can always make a call when needed.

Clear voice and reception while using it. No complaints in that regard. Could make a call out and using my phone as if it was either a phone company or cable company. Would not know it was OOMA vs. these others.

The major telecommunications companies charge $35-$50 per month for the same service. Simply plug this in, and follow the wizards - easy to setup and use. It only took 3 days to port my phone number - my wife didn't even realize we had changed phone service.

Great voip service at a low price. Voice quality is clear and crisp. The only thing that I didn't like was how long it would take to transfer my old phone number, which would have been 3 weeks. Getting a new number is free, however. I give it five stars, because it's a great way to have inexpensive phone service!

It works and allows for use of cells and tablets to answer home phone anywhere. We love it, works good. Can't pick up on cell and extension phone at same time, but if you think about it that might be hard to implement anyway. Better than what we had and more convenient, filters some of those annoying marketers.

I've had a Ooma Telo phone set for about 8-10 years and it has been wonderful. I wanted to upgrade to a newer phone. I bought the new one at Best Buy and installed it with minimal trouble. Ooma has saved me substantial money on long distance and international calls. I would definitely recommend this.

The device worked beautifully out of the box. Instructions could have been more detailed, but, with a little thinking it was easy to sort out. Voice quality is great, and, feature set much better than Vonage. I switched from Vonage because their pricing is designed to obfuscate.
