When reviewing options to replace our home phone plan, this product was highly rated in multiple sources. We got it, set it up, and are very happy that the hype was right.

Ooma has turned out to be a great investment. It is great telephone service at a great price, and good clarity. A huge difference from Frontier at a much better price.

The device itself one text up immediately and I got dial tone. I didn't need anything amazing for a house phone and even Von age was getting too expensive with far more features than I need. This is fine.

This replaced an Ooma Telo that we bought 12 years, which had started dropping calls when you pick up. No complaints though, we've saved thousands over that span. The new Telo is slightly smaller but the functionality is the same, as far as I can tell. We use the Premium service so we can call forward and double ring.

It may cost more than Magic Jack, but well worth it. Chrystal clear calls, no extra fees or yearly ones unless you add services. The basic service offers plenty for my needs.

I have some friends who have used Ooma, and based on their thoughts and recommendations, I thought I would give it a try. This is the perfect Orin to help "cut the cord" from the overly expensive VOIP service from the cable/ISP providers and/or regular land line phone companies. The 911 service that Ooma offers was the kicker for us, since we have small children and needed that confidence in the event of an emergency.

They give you "Premium" service free for 60 days...BUT, then you will get charged for it unless you affirmatively opt out. If you want premium...and are willing to pay the extra amount per month...do nothing.
