Returned after battery refused to charge after getting it out of the box. Disappointed, upgraded to the best & more expensive model Oral B.

Very poor quality the better is not good at all losing charge

Battery backup is not great, need to recharge everyday after using it.

Decent brush, seems a little harsh, a lot of vibration.

The brush was to small for brushing your tong and it didn't feel right

This is quite simply the best toothbrush I have ever owned. I was going to purchase a Sonicaire about 7 years ago, but on the advise of my dental hygienist bought a Braun/Oral B instead, because with its high-speed circular motion and small, round brush (she said) it surrounded and thoroughly cleaned each tooth. At that time I bought the more expensive dual-speed model (there are 4 different models, the 1000 through the 4000, with the 4000 being the variable speed top-of-the-line). My first Braun lasted almost 7 years before giving out, and I brush 3 times a day. Although this 1000 is a simpler model (I only need one speed), Braun has actually made some minor ergonomic improvements since 2006, which make a great product excellent. I recall from 7 years back that there was a few days of discomfort when I brushed (it is a high-speed, dental quality brushing), but that discomfort rapidly disappeared and now it is almost a pleasure to brush my teeth.

I had an Oral B electric tooth brush for almost 11 years and the motor finally gave out. I was so impressed by the power in this newer (to me) tooth brush. The toothbrush has a 30 second timer to make sure one spends the right amount of time per quadrant. It is slim and fits nicely on my bathroom counter. Can't go wrong!

I bought my first Oral-B electric toothbrush something like 28 years ago. It's still running (!), but the on/off buttons are a little dodgy, so I broke down and bought this one to replace it. Wow. The head speed seems about three times faster, and while before my teeth felt clean after brushing, with this new one it's like after a visit to the dentist ... without the grit. Love the 30 second/2 minutes timers, too. Only had it a couple days, but I'm very happy with the decision to get an electric toothbrush from this century.

So glad Braun still makes the Pro1000 and so glad Best Buy sells it. It’s the best model - it cleans so well that my dental cleanings, which used to be torture, are now a breeze. I find the flashing lights on other models to be annoying, and nearly impossible to use when I have a migraine. The power button is also nicely made and better than on other models. I just hope Braun keeps making it!

gets you everything you need for a great clean brush without the all the nice-to-have but unnecessary features of the newer models. watch for deals on brush heads as they can be pricey at retail.

First electeic tooth brush for me so wasnt sure what to expect. Seems well constructed and it generally feels like its worth the expense. My dentist encouraged me to try. Wasnt quite prepared for just how loud it is though - externally and also just in your head as you're using it. Feel a bit self concious if im trying to be quiet in early or late at night. Probably could also be abit challenging for folks that have a very strong gag relfex. Curious to see though how it improves my oral health. Time and smconsistent use will tell.

I've been a Sonicare user for a while now, and I wanted to see how the Oral-B Healthy Clean Precision 1000 stacks up against my Sonicare Healthy White Easy Clean. Both are basic rechargeable electric toothbrushes with few fancy features, but a emphasis on cleaning ability. The Sonicare is a more aggressive toothbrush, while the Oral-B is gentler. Sonicare seems to acknowledge that it's toothbrushes are aggressive because it gives them a feature called Easy-Start that ramps up power over the first 14 times you use the brush so you and your gums can get used to the punishment. No such feature is present or needed for the Oral-B. Instead of vibrating up and down against the gum line, the Oral-B's brush head oscillates rapidly. It is supposed to pulse as well, but it must be too subtle for me to see or feel. The overall feeling is a little rubbery. The other thing I noticed is that the brush head is thicker than the one on the Sonicare, meaning you'll need more room between your teeth and cheek when brushing your side teeth. The distance between the tip of the bristles to the back side of the brush head is ⅞" vs ⅝" for the Sonicare. It's not a problem for me, but I can see it might be an issue for someone with a smaller mouth. It may also be the reason Oral-B doesn't give you a cap with your brush heads.

excellent battery, gets the job done, waterproof and drop proof

This toothbrush is a great motorized toothbrush. If you guys want to keep the battery alive longer, don't charge it until you have to. Run the battery down until the red battery light starts to blink and then charge it. Your toothbrush will last forever.

Works great and is easy to use. it seems to get into the hard to reach places

This Oral B tooth brush makes it easy to get a good teeth cleaning with minimal effort

I have a ORAL-B VITALITY, ORAL-B PRO 500, and the ORAL-B PRO 1000. The Vitality has a built in 2 minute timer but only pulses at the end of the 2 minutes, I find this to be big draw back. The Pro 500 and Pro 1000 have the 2 minute timers but will pulse every 30 seconds which I find easier to brush all quadrants of your teeth/mouth evenly. I find the so called "pulse feature" of the 1000 doesn't do anything since I do not even notice it vs the 500 which does not have this feature but brushes just as good. In the end, I would save some money and I would recommend the PRO 500.
