It appeared to me that he was doing a lot, but when he was finished and we started using the computer again it wasn’t any better. Our problem was that it ran slow and we were told that having it cleaned up should help that issue, but it didn’t.

did speed up my system....BUT DID NOT fix Webroot Home Screen as I requested.....I feel it was a 20 dollar fix.

I am a long-time customer of Best Buy who spends thousands of dollars a year there, so unfortunately, I trusted the guarantee. Nothing is guaranteed. My computer is worse than before and don't believe they performed all tasks on the list. They certainly couldn't support that the tasks were performed in my phone conversations. I was disappointed, bought a new computer and attempted to get a refund. I was told the guarantee means they "stand by the work that they did" so there would be no refund regardless of the benign or negative impact of their work. Not sure the value of that if my computer is worse than before. I asked what the "money-back guarantee" means and they offered to work on my computer again. I asked several times what the money-back guarantee meant and they said they would look into it/investigate this case and email me with 48 hours. If they aren't sure what "money-back" means, you shouldn't be either. At best it seems misleading, at worst dishonest.

The agent did a remote checkup, but it didn't solve my problem. In their defense, I may need a full diagnostic on my laptop.

Had a problem with a computer. They charged me for a tuneup but it did not solve the problem. I was charged $40.00+ dollars for no solution. When I called back they said " Do you want a tuneup. Poor!

I was not as satisfied with tune up/update as I had hoped to be. PC still running very slow. Agent was difficult to understand. Not sure if I would use the Geek Squad again.

My computer needed cleaning from any viruses or/and illegal downloads. Process was done by virtual control without my assistance. It was worth the money I spent.

EXCELLENT REPAIR!!! TECH RESOLVED MY ISSUE IN A TIMELY MANNER. TECH HELPED REDUCE MY ANXIETY BY EXPLAINING WHAT HE WAS DOING DURING EACH STEP. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GEEK SQUAD!

I was told different things by the agent who performed my tune up online and by the in-store representative. My issue is still unresolved. I have been a Best Buy customer for 14 years, and this is the first time I am dissatisfied with service. I will continue to shop there due to overall past pleasant experiences.

It took awhile to get it done, but the $39.99 was well spent. I appreciated the great service. They saved me!

I was very disappointed with the remote service I had done to my computer. The guy was supposed to call me but he didn’t. He just disengaged from the remote and sent me a partial report which I called back twice to request the full report and the 1st guy hung up on me and I called back and the next guy told me I would automatically recieve the full report the next day bc they are computer generated-- next day--I rec'd NOTHING. I askedfor a refund--was granted. But I never rec'd the full report. So I still don't know what is going on with my computer to this day!

I was trying to upgrade from Win 10 to Win11. I told the Geek Squad that I was informed by the upgrade app that my laptop was not covered by Win 11 requirements. The squad told me that they could make it work. When they remotely took over my laptop the lady said that my laptop would not upgrade, but that she could do a tune up since we were already hooked up. I noticed no improvement of benefit from the tune up. So basically I feel that I've been taken for a ride and received nothing for my time and money.
