Just use antivirus software

They left the riskware I told them about on the hard drive. Webroot identified the riskware and removed it. For what did I pay Geek Squad? They left the riskware used by the hacker on my computer. They said that they don't remove riskware? Horrible

Remote Geek Squad

I had to constantly repeat myself. I don't mind a thorough understanding, but I don't appreciate being rushed by agents in the chat. The level of professionalism was also quite poor.

Did not fix issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I called for a Tune Up last week just yesterday it shut down saying "PC ran into a problem" - twice! I asked the agent after the tune up if I would be getting that message anymore and they assured me I wouldn't. I'm not familiar with what the Tune Up entails and now I'm afraid I have to purchase a brand new laptop since I don't know what the issue is!

Posted .Hi there. Thank you for reaching out to us about this! I'm sorry to hear the agent didn't provide any more information that could have helped you out. A Tune Up will rid the computer of built up "junk" that needs to be removed from the PC. When you get that blue screen that says "PC ran into a problem", it can be from a number of things; That can be a hardware issue, a software issue, a program causing it, etc. What I'd recommend first is just make sure you're keeping up to date with your Windows Updates and you're restarting your computer at least once a week. Please let us know if you run into any more issues!! I hope this helps.
