It feels a bit cheap.

I bought a $20 toaster at target and took it back straight away as the moving parts were not good. The only choice at Best Buy was this one and at $40, I expected it to be a lot better than the target one. It is not that much better.

A simple wipe down with a damp sponge doesn't help. Also, even though its overall size is fairly large compared to our previous toaster, the slots aren't long enough to accommodate a standard slice of grocery store rye bread; sigh. The digital countdown and retractable cord are nice features.
