I tried to toast a fairly thick slice of a sweet bread and burned the first 2 pieces. I don't think it is the fault of the toaster and I just need to watch it closer until I know just what setting to use for certain breads. My previous toaster oven was an under-the-counter Black & Decker and of course they don't make them any longer. Well, actually they do but they have a 3 month wait and are close to $200!! I like the look of the Oster. I have not used it too much yet, but I am sure it will be just fine for baking, broiling and toasting. The price is certainly reasonable.

It seems like the interior also has more room for four slices. The dials are bigger and easier to read and turn. The tray is easy to remove and clean. Even though it costs slightly more but it is worthy.

Decent toaster oven

In order to bake or broil you must turn the toasting knob to the correct position and then set the temperature with the other knob. Sometimes it is hard to get the toasting knob in the correct position for baking and broiling. Otherwise it cooks well.
