My family owns 4 Iphones so of course, we own 4 of these cases. It will protect your phone. You can drop it or kick it and it will most likely survive all of that.

Get a separate screen protector. The plastic one that comes with it gets dirty and is too thick/cloudy. Phone case itself is sturdy and i feel pretty confident anytime my phone hits the ground.

Got this for my mother because she got an iPhone for the first time. Wanted to make sure she wasn't nervous if she dropped it. She did and the case did its job! The defender is the best one.

the case does the job, i dont know if will protect or no when my phone touch the floor, but it feels sturdy. the case come with a plastic for ur screen, nothing special but works in your pocket for scratches

We bought an Otterbox Defender for my wife's iPhone 5s and we were extremely impressed with it so when I purchased an iPhone 5c I rushed out to buy a Defender for it immediately. Protection is similar but the screen protector is no good. It is not flush with the screen so dirt and other small particles get lodged in between the screen and the protector. I am constantly having to remove the phone from the case and clean the screen and the inside of the screen protector. Additionally, I paid $20 for the 5s cover and $40 for the 5c cover.....

The product works good for me, my iphone is a plastic version and so having this case really helps. It may not be waterproof or anything but it's an otterbox so it is very dependable.

Without this Otter box, I'd have replaced many iphones. I've dropped it on more concrete floors than I care to remember. The thing bounces! Not a scratch, not a dent, not an issue. Great product.

I love my otterbox casing and now that you can order extra rubber seals directly from otterbox there will be no need to buy another case and my brand new iphone will be like new for yrs to come

This is a great cover to start with as protection for the iPhone 5c. I would like to see Otterbox do a better job keeping the dust from getting under the screen protector.

This product is important especially if there are young children around who might play with phone or drop it in the toilet accidentally. This also gives me a feeling of safety and security.

Otter Box defender is the absolutely best protection money can buy for iPhones. I've had all of the others but always came back to Otter Box. Don't waste your money on anything else!

I purchased several devices and nothing fit, I guess IPhone 5S is not compatible with IPhone5 case, go figure. The one I found at Best Buy fit well and they had the color I wanted.

Worth every penny - gives solid protection to my iPhone. Have dropped it a couple of times with the Otterbox on, and there has been no damage at all to my phone. Highly recommend.
