The analog jack and power connector tabs are a bit stiff but will loosen up with time. Otherwise a worthwhile protection investment for your smartphone. IMO, Otterbox is the best at this.

Learned quickly that the flexible door over the charging port can interfere with the charging connection. Hold open while connecting works! A bit pricey.

Rugged tough

One flaw, the flip-back protectors for the Samsung Note C-port and Aux port are stiff. I've cut them off my last two cases.

My only complaint is the access to the battery charging port is a little inconvenient, and the case inhibits wireless charging

Not as expected

The case is still holding up and never had a problem with it. I upgraded to the Note 9, which I am not happy with, but this new Otterbox case is not as good. The lower right corner where the Pen goes in, is very flimsy and bends. This section of the case is already pulling away from my phone. The sections that cover the buttons are very soft and also pull away to easy from the sides of the case, which leads me to believe that it will not protect my $1,000 phone. It is also difficult to remove the pen.

Makes getting to the stylus dufficult!

The quality of the case is great but it falls short with this phone because it makes it difficult to release the stylus on my phone. You have to force your finger down into the corner to press on the stylus. Thankfully I have small fingers or it would be even more difficult. That design flaw was enough to cause a 5 star rating to drop to two. Too bad because otherwise it is a good case, though pricey at $50.
