We have tried other cases, and had problems with any others. The Otterboxes have saved our devices more times than I can say. We have them for our iPads and iPhones. The Commuter case is not as durable for big drops as the Defender, but it protects well for a person who is more careful with their phone and allows the phone to fit more easily into pockets and purses since it is thinner and lighter than the Defender case. I highly recommend either of them.

Otterbox commuter case protects and fits the iPhone 8 perfectly. Have used their cases before with no problems.

Sleeker than my iPhone 5 OtterBox, it installed easily and gives solid protection surrounding my iPhone 8. It does not cover the screen, but has raised edges all around the screen so that if the phone falls with the screen facing down it is protected from the impact with the ground. If necessary, a clear screen cover film can be installed.

This Case provides great protection with the most slim design in a otter box case that I have ever seen.

I got this case for my son's phone and I think it is pretty spot on! It fully encases the phone and does not make the phone look extra bulky. My son likes it and says it works. Definitely one of the better OtterBox cases I've seen. Although I do like the cover for the charger port, it does add a little time to plugging in the charger. Definitely not a showstopper.
