Screenless Protection

I've used the Commuter series in the past to avoid the screen and bulk. I don't worry about the clip, because I never use it. I purchased a Zagg screen protector to compliment the defender and both are worth the money. You can't use the wireless charger with the case, but that's okay. I purchased a Nomad charger to charge my Samsung products.

If you are looking for a strong and protective case, this is the one for you. It is also fairly thin for the amount of coverage it provides. The lack of the screen protector is a minus, but I overcame this by pairing the protector with a Zagg tempered glass screen protector.

No screen protection

If your ok with that fine but I don't buy $50 cases and not have that feature. When I did this as a add on to my cart nothing stated it was a screen-less model and didn't notice until I got home taking this back.

Good case, to Big

The problem I have with it is it makes an already large phone enormous! I'm coming form a S6 to the Note 8 so i knew the phone was a bit wider and a fair amount longer. Put this case on and compare it to my S6 and it's not contest. All in all its a good case for protection but it makes an already large phone huge and heavy.

It doesn't fit nice and snug into the belt clip like my defender cases in the past. It wiggles back and forth in the belt clip. I bought 2 of these cases and both of them do the same thing. It's like the little piece of plastic you lift up to remove it from the case isn't big enough so it can wiggle from one side of the hole to the other. I've already had my phone fall out of the belt clip once in the 2 days I have been using it. Not a good sign.

Bad quality

Well after 3months my clip to the belt snapped in half. The plastic cover has started to chip away on the edges and has even broke on the left lower corner and has chipped along the bottom and right side. Also the exposed corner where the s pen goes is always getting scratched scuffed dented when ever it falls. At first is great but after some time of use is definitely not worth the money it's being made of really cheap plastic at a premium price.
