You'll still have to purchase tempted glass, I recommend the Zagg. It works perfectly with the case.

Case is not as bulky as the older versions and I was happy they had some different colors to chose from for the Note 8.

Seems very sturdy and adds the necessary weight and stick-to-it-ness so my phone doesn't slide out of my pocket unknowingly. Only complaint is that it doesn't seem to work well with the Samsung wireless fast charger. This would have been a deal breaker had I known this ahead of time.

I feel confident my OtterBox case will protect my phone. This is based on others' reviews before I bought mine. I have not dropped or damaged the phone, so I can't relate my own experience there. But I can say that my OtterBox case is easy to put on and take off. I am not impressed by the screenless design. After paying $60 for this case you have to buy a separate screen protector. I don't understand why Otterbox would split these two products up. Other screen covers will not reach the top of the phone. This means as you swipe down to access the notifications etc. you will be scraping the top edge of that screen protector.
