I only use OtterBox for protecting my cell phones after trying many on the market. The case combined with a quality screen protector like the ZAGG glass curve for Galaxy Note 8 is my choice. This combination has saved my phone many times. The OtterBox does not come with the screen protector so must purchase a separate screen protector. Maybe someday OtterBox will provide total solution.

You can't go wrong with the Defender Case. This is the 4th phone I've had the Defender product on and wouldn't recommend any other case. It's extremely durable and reasonably priced.

Love the product but was told at Best Buy that I still qualified for some promotional free items thru Samsung on the date I purchased. However I found out that promotion had ended after I bought. I was very disappointed in that as the phone is so pricey.

Went to my local Best buy, and tried out a couple cases. Having the new Samsung Note 8 phone, felt there was no way not to have a case for it. First tried the Samsung case. Then another brand I did not know. Waited til the end to try the OtterBox! The best fitting case, and the case that felt like you could truly drop the phone, and would not have to replace the phone. Just wish there was a bright color. But the black does look good.

This is my 3rd Otterbox case. It is pretty much what I have come to expect. My ONLY complaint, is the decision by Otterbox NOT to design a case with a screen protector. The two previous cases that I bought for my Note 2 and Note 5 had built in screen protectors. It is something that I have and I would think MOST Otterbox customers have come to expect. Than add insult to injury, Otterbox is selling these cases for pretty much the same price as cases that DO HAVE the screen protector. Hey Otterbox ....... YOU may want to "rethink" the absent screen protector.

Its better than i could have hoped it does the job so well i dont have to think about it, one minor issue, it shields the mic a bit so the google assistant isn't as responsive.

I was apprehensive at first because of the curved screen on the Note 8, but is standard otterbox style. Does exactly what all my other otterboxes has done - just works period.

Second Otterbox, first for this phone. Easy to use. Very protective and a great investment.

this product is really amazing in built quality and the ourt rubber layer is good and shock proof... must buy for phone, its a phone saver and ultimate drop proof design!!!

I would never transport a phone without my Otterbox. I did that one time. I did not get the phone home before I dropped it and cracked the screen. I love the defender case.

Case was easy to attach to phone, Rated very good or protection of phone.

What more can i say about this defender case. I love that otter box has removed the screen protector for these curved devices. Buy a zaggs and you will be good

I have used OtterBox cases on my cell phones for a few years. I have never had a phone damaged while being protected by the Defender series cases. Believe me, I have been pretty rough on them too. I've done everything from dropping my phone from the top of a fire engine to dropping it into a puddle of water with absolutely zero damage. The best of the best in phone cases.

Fits my note 8 perfectly, provides great protection from drops. Love it

Havent dropped it yet but im confident this keep case would keep it safe. It might be a good idea to get a glass cover too, but i havent. Id say this is the perfect case, but like i said...havent dropped it yet, and thats how im really going to judge. I tried tbis and the tech21 case, and i went w tbis bc it just feels safer, and i dont have to put my phone in my pocket anymore.

The cover is thick and I find it difficult to get in the carrier. I have to actually look to get it in position to latch. The protection aspect is superior! The openings for the charger and headset have tabs that lock into place and seal very well to keep out dirt and moisture. My least favorite feature is the cover itself doesn't have a built in kickstand. The kickstand is on the carrier and I personally find it awkward, and not a good angle for viewing.

I have been purchasing other box for the last 10 years. I feel they fell short for the note 8 with no screen protector. Once I see another with screen cover this one is going back.

This is a good product for the most part and I have had several Otter box cases. The belt clip attachment leaves plenty to be desired though. The clip that holds the kick Stand out usually breaks . Mine broke the very first day.

it fits the phone well slightly bulky but protective as well, highly recommended.

It has taken a good beating but it was worth it. I've dropped my phone many a time since then and the worst thing to happen was the phone S-Pen came out and I had to file a claim on their lifetime warranty. The S-Pen replacement was a separate thing to take care of on its own since Otterbox only covers the case. It is worth the cost especially since I have kids and an active lifestyle.
