Our apologies that you're feeling disheartened by the screenless style for the Galaxy Note 8 Defender! We deliberately decided to not include a screen protector on this case to allow the best interaction possible with the curved infinity display, through either direct contact or use of a tempered glass screen protector. We released the Alpha Glass to make sure customers had an option for additional, fortified security. Although the price may seem high, we think the cost is well worth the ultimate protection, outstanding customer service, and limited lifetime warranty that all come with the product.
