Although expensive it protected my stuff real well. Not this one, this did not protect a lot of areas on my phone and it was expensive. I returned it the next day.

Maybe we're jumping to assumptions here, but from the details in your review, we would suspect that you're referring to the lack of a built-in screen protector on this version. We intentionally decided to forego the traditional design in order to provide complete access to the curved infinity display. While we understand that this might make customers feel a little apprehensive, we truly believe that direct contact with the screen will provide the best device interaction.

I was told this is a typical problem nationwide by the geek squad member. I was told the curved screen is not protected in theotter box. I was told I need to buy a different case to protect my New Note 8. I had to pay for a screen replacement on a 15 day old phone that was put in the case in store the day of purchase with a screen protector. I have given the phone to the Girlfriend and went back to my two year old I phone 6s that has lived its life with no case or protector. Long live Apple.

I wish Best Buy would carry the holsters alone. The cases are all in perfect condition but I need the holster for work and riding my motorcycle.

Otterbox case has changed

There is only a cover for the back of the phone which forces you to buy a screen over. Personally, I feel like my phone is less protected without a full case for my phone.
