In addition, the tightness between the case and the belt clip is not a snug as the OtterBox case for my previous phone. The phone has fallen out of the clip several times in just 2 months. Compared to my previous case the phone fell out of the clip several times in a span of 4 years.

We intentionally decided to forego the built-in screen protector in order to provide the most direct, unfiltered interaction with the infinity display. If you're looking for a little extra protection upfront, so to speak, we would recommend the Alpha Glass, which is specifically engineered to work seamlessly with the Defender. When using the belt clip, we typically recommend inserting the phone with the screen facing out, since this orientation normally works better with curved screen devices. Even though it said it was for the Samsung galaxy Note 8. I took it apart and the phone fit perfectly in the rubberized part but it wasn't a snug fit. Once I put the middle piece back in the phone it would not fit in. I returned the phone and wrote a review on otterbox. Currently waiting on a response from them.

Best option avail with belt clip

Otter box has a always made a good product and improved there line along the way, but since they bought out the company life proof they have scaled back on their warranty. Only 1 year vs. The lifetime they did offer and have taken away the screen cover that once came with the defender series. As soon as UAG case becomes avail with belt clip option I will not return to otter box.
