The whole purpose of an OtterBox is to have 360° protection and their new design comes with no screen protection. Don’t waste your money or make sure you buy a glass protector.

After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases. We're sorry to hear that you're not loving your Defender Series Pro case! While that case is compatible with Qi charging pads, it is not designed for optimal functionality with MagSafe accessories. Keep in mind, this case will perform best with OtterBox branded wireless chargers. That being said, we have a sizeable lineup of OtterBox cases that we designed specifically to interact with Apple's MagSafe ecosystem and that have been through our full gauntlet of tests to ensure they will still offer the protection OtterBox is known for. I was skeptical and wasn't sure about it but the price cut from online is actually a great deal. It turns out that yes, this case adds bulk, but it's not as bad as it used to be. Had this same case for my XS Max, and it's way bigger then this case and that's nice to see improvement on size. Don't get me wrong it doesn't feel any less sturdy though. I also like how the sides are flattened off which allows you to use the gestures on ur phone easier. The held clip thing is also a nice addition. Overall, a great case and very protective and if you can get it for the deal I got it for, ($38.00 roughly) then go for it!

Slimmest “Defender” Case EVER!!!

My only gripe, and I’m assuming most people have it as well is how bulky it was. Seems like this year they re-designed the case and it’s now extremely slim, which I love. I work in the law-enforcement field and absolutely trust this case to protect my very expensive phone!

I’ve been an otterbox fan since I had my iPhone 5. & each time I upgrade my phone I get an otterbox. however, this otterbox is way thinner than any other I’ve had. I compared it to my daughters 11 case.... it’s still a very cute protective case. I have it in black , the pink & purple one & also the blue.

I was pleasantly surprised by the thinness of this case. It doesn’t feel big and bulky like the other ones I’ve used in the past. I feel confident the case along with a screen protector will provide the protection I need.
