Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the case in berry for my new iPhone 12 pro max. Shipping was fast, and the case seemed sturdy. But it is too rigid! I spent 20 min trying to get it on my phone, it then got stuck and I spent another 20 trying to pry it out and I bent a fingernail back in the process. Returning today since I don’t want to battle my case every time I want to remove it.

Terrible design/ flimsy

Took the case off to clean my phone and the entire back of my phone is shattered. What is the point of buying this product if it’s not gonna protect your investment! I believe OtterBox has failed! The OtterBox on all my previous phones were hearty and rigid! This one is flimsy and not rugged enough for what their marketing it as. Very disappointed! Take all these precautions and still get a damaged phone. OtterBox you’re costing me $600! OtterBox will offer you a replacement OtterBox but they do nothing to fix your damage product! They believe their product is so worthy of people buying it to protect their device they need to make a better effort to protect the device! Will not buy another OtterBox product. Cheap construction

No Raised Edges for Screen Protection

Upon purchasing the defender for my iPhone 12 pro I noticed a significant drop in overall covered protection around my phone. This case offers zero screen protection. The side edges along the case are not created in way that offer protectoin for your screen. Your iPhone screen will sit at the same level of the edge of the plastic trim. There is not any extra space between the case and your screen, so no raised edges to offer protection against drops. So if you drop your phone with the screen facing down it will crack, just like mine did. I won't be purchasing another OtterBox ever.
