We intentionally decided to forego the built-in screen protector on this version in order to provide clear-cut, direct access to the curved device display. Rest assured, the Defender Series Pro still passed all of our extensive tests to ensure top-of-the-line drop protection!
That being said, if you're interested in some extra protection upfront, so to speak, we would suggest taking a look at our Alpha Glass screen protector. Wrong product

I specifically wanted the one with the full protection - I get home from my 1 hour round trip through nightmare traffic only to look closer and see “Screenless edition” on a little sticker on the box. No where in the title does it say “screenless” and the images show the full layered product I wanted. Thanks for wasting my time Best Buy!

Commuters and defenders for multiple different iPhones. This is the first one I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5. I really don’t like the squared off front. It is very thick and bulky, barely thinner than a defender would be. I had a commuter on my iPhone 6 Plus. I absolutely loved that case. It was rounded around the front edges. It really felt like it had the best possible protection without having a screen cover or being overly bulky. I don’t know if they could do anything about the thickness. The iPhone XR is significantly thicker than my iPhone 6 Plus, and the camera sticks out a lot further, but I don’t see any reason for the extra bulky squared off front. It should also wrap around the front of the phone a bit more. I have glass screen protector on my XR and this case is almost 1/8” away from the screen protector the whole way around. Looks like I’ll have a little trough around the edge of my screen to collect dust and grossness. Like all otter box cases, it seems like it’ll give excellent protection. Over the past few days I’m getting used to it. I’m still considering sending this back and getting a Symmetry.

But there. Was no screen protector with this one. Disappointed and wasted time to go pick up the item and then also had to make a second trip to return it. Bought a separate screen protector from online and also awesome Spigen case with kick stand. All for less than the cost of this screen protector.

Not as good as they used to be!

Seems to me the materials are getting cheaper as the last couple I got lasted no more that a year before they either ripped or stretched out so the fit was not good. Moving on from OtterBox to another product.

The back of the phone was creaked and I had not realized it until we took it out of it to clean one day. It was too expensive to not serve its purpose, could have just bought a cheaper case online

I tried even heating the plastic to stretch it a little. I don't know how others are able to get their iphone in the case. That is if you expect life to be less than 6 months. Had to get store manager over to approve the swap for a new one and then the "new" case broke.
