I always buy otter box cases for my devices. This case is strong and sturdy.

I've been using Otterbox cases since my iPhone 4S, and I absolutely ADORE them! They always keep my phones looking as if I had just bought them from the store years later. This case is no exception. Fits my iPhone XR like a glove, feels very sturdy and makes for a very comfortable and secure grip in my hands. I've never-and WILL never-complain about the extra added bulk the case does bring because that's what enables the case to protect your phone so competently even with multiple hard drops onto concrete (I've NEVER had a cracked screen thanks to Otterbox!). My ONE qualm, and the reason why I didn't give the item 5 stars, is that I am thoroughly perplexed as to why there is no built in screen protector on this model. That's one of the benefits of Otterbox Defender series cases-all in one protection including a screen protector. I read another review prior to purchase where Otterbox responded to the no screen protector feature by saying that they didn't feel that the phone would have been able to be properly protected by this case, due to the curved screen, if they added the usual built in screen protector. However, how were they able to add a built in screen protector for the Galaxy S7 Edge, which has a MUCH more curvier screen and body than the iPhone XR? That doesn't make any sense to me. Other than that, I love the case and the protection that it offers.

This case offers great protection for my iPhone. It is non-slip and completely encases my phone with the exception of the glass front; although the case surrounds the phone and creates a bumper around the face of the phone. The case fits my iPhone XR perfectly. It is a little bulky and makes the phone a bit heavy, but it's a trade off for the protection.

Much better than my last case that had a corner break right off. Seemed really heavy and clunky at first, but forgot about that by the next day. Also bought one in another blue shade for my 16 year old daughter. Thought the bulk would be an issue for her, but she really likes it too. Just takes a little getting used to accessing buttons and the charging port. Offers great protection and I love the color.

I’ve gotten otterbox cases for my last several phones and they have never let me down. I wish there were more color options though. They don’t come with screen protectors anymore, which I prefer. Love how this one has a whole back instead of a cut out of the apple logo. Might be expensive for some but is well worth the price.

I had an Otter Box Defender on my old iPhone, and it protected it well. I wanted the same thing for my new phone. Although it is a little big making my phone bulky, I think it is worth the protection it offers. Also, it does not come with a screen protector the way the old ones do, so I had to purchase a screen protector separately.

First we have owned many otter boxes over the years and they work, My daughter is constantly dropping her phone! The Defenders may be a little bulky but they definitely work. My only concern with the new ones is the lack of a screen protector.

Otter box always been good for me love it so far very safe feels good to my hand was very easy to put onto my phone feel it makes my phone looks bigger I love the color and how easy it is to charge my phone and put my headphones in and out

Overall this is an excellent case. It is durable and provides the type of quality I expect from Otterbox with less bulkiness than previous models. I would have given this case 5 stars if it had a built in screen protector, but sadly the case is open on the front. This seems to be the trend with most phone cases now days though so I can't say I have any real complaints about my purchase. At the end of the day this case is worth the money and it will keep your phone safe without a doubt.

This is my second OtterBox Defender Case . The first case kept my phone protected and looking like new for the entire 3 1/2 years I kept the phone. The new Defender Series Pro is without the screen protector, and seems heavier than the original. It also lacks the cut out for the Apple logo on the back of the phone . The holster latch holding the phone in place does not feel like it is secure enough for this heavy case. Overall it is a solid case, but I preferred the OtterBox Defender Case I had for my IPhone 6.

This case is a must and if you want a screen protector you’ll need to buy it separately. The only fault with this product is that because it does its job so well they needed to eliminate the screen protector so as not to void the Apple iPhone warranty due to moisture damage from sealing the phone so tight. Gorilla glass is an extra purchase but well worth it. This case is a must for those that will expose the phone to a lot of rough handling. Love this case

Otterbox Defender series phone cases are a leader in protective cases for cell phones. This is probably my 4th Defender case over tha past decade. I have never had a broken phone while dropping it woth this case on. They may be slightly bulkier than the designer cases, but if you are active or have an outsoor job, this case is worth every penny. The only issue I have ever had was the belt clip breaking on one of the holders after about 3 years!

Otterbox has always provided superior protection for your expensive mobile devices... Until now. Don't get me wrong, they still have a good product but on the newer versions for anything newer than an iPhone 8 you no longer get the built in screen protection. For the new models you now have to purchase screen protection from someone else but that did not stop them from increasing the price for less protection.

Guaranteed protection although it’s bulky & heavy also a little bit pricey

I have had an otterbox since my iphone 4s. I had an otterbox on my iphone X, but my back screen managed to shatter somehow so I got this case for extra protection. It makes my phone feel like a brick and the buttons are hard to press on the side because the rubber is still very stiff, but otherwise, I will always be loyal to Otterbox.

Have used otterbox defender cases for all my phones. They provide superb protection against falls and scratches. For this iPhone XR model it doesn't Include the built in screen protection like other past models. Had to purchase separate screen protector. Reason for 4 of 5 stars. Everything else is good

Love my otter box cover. Feels good in you hand and doesn’t slip on smooth surface. Needed to get a screen protection as it didn’t have one. The clip can be used to cover the screen when you not using the phone. Or clip it on the back and you can stand up your phone but it wil cover up the rear camera.

Otterbox pretty much nailed it with this case. I love that you get the durable construction of the Defender and ability to use your own screen shield. The charging port and sound switch are covered. Camera is nicely recessed to avoid scratches. Even with all the protection, it still allows wireless charging! The only negative is that I do wish Otterbox still offered the thin material over the speaker openings to keep out dust, lint, and other minor debris. Very solid case that will keep my phone safe from drops during runs or bike rides. Highly recommend!

I had an Otter Box Case for a previous phone I had. When I got my new iPhone I wanted a case that would last and protect my new phone. It does a great job of protecting my phone, however the only issue I have is the added bulk. It makes the iPhone XR somewhat bulky.

I have been using OtterBox cases for a very long time now and while I have dropped my phone several times, there has been no damage to any of my phones. My only wish is that they still offered the complete case with display protection as well as case protection.
