After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases. The outer cover has grip and fits snugly, the raised lip around the screen provides great protection for the screen, and as I work in a warehouse environment with cement floors I have yet to have damaged a phone.
