Poor quality and security on iPhone 12 Otter Box

We had to return the first case for a replacement because the clasp broke that holds the phone to the base in less than a week. My husband has now lost his phone twice because the clasp on the second case does not hold securely! For a product that costs $60 and for the brand name I am extremely unhappy with the quality of this product. The otter box my husband had on his old iPhone lasted for 5 years with no problems ever! What has happened to your quality Otter Box!

They have ALL come with a full frame inner casing (including a screen protector). This case does NOT include a screen protector. This is not clear when looking at the product details either. The case is very large and bulky (similar to past Otterbox Defender cases I've purchased in the past). I will probably try to find a case that has a smaller frame since this does not have the built-in screen protector anyway.

After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases.
