I have always liked the OtterBox phone protectors and have been using them since owning my first iPhone which was a 5 or a 6. I have never damaged my phone since using the OtterBox protectors and I work in a brutal environment for a cell phone. I’m a contract welder and work all over the United States, I’m from San Diego but have worked in California, Arizona, Florida and now in Virginia. My environment is dirty,many times hot and other times freezing. There metal dust from grinding steel to drop hazards. When you work repairing a navy ship and your phone falls, it’s not a soft landing, it’s going to land on hard steel and I have dropped my phone with the OtterBox from a height of 30 feet more than once and my iPhone 8 has survived without a defect. I’ve had this phone for 4 1/2 years. I’ve had it long enough that my battery had worn out but I had a new one installed because my phone worked fine. I normally replace my OtterBox every year because my job is so hard on a phone but the OtterBox gets worn out because of the abuse it gets on my job but my phone has never been damaged. I have gotten this case everytime I need a case and it is always the perfect case. It looks great and it protects the phone really well, even when I throw it across the room.

The OtterBox is a well-established company with really good products. The iPhone case that I have is working out so far so good. I haven’t been able to drop the phone a bunch since purchasing it but on the few occasions where it does fall out of my hands I worry a little bit less about the back or the front of the glass being shattered. Sometimes you have to spend good money to protect the products

This case is durable and it protects your phone. He works as a water operator it fell in the body of water he dished it out and it still worked his phone worked.

What I think about this product is it perfect! The price was good and the product is amazing!

Bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas for his new cell phone. He really likes it. He doesn't worry if he drops his cell phone now. Great grip too.

I love this case, especially the part of it that blocks. The charging port feel safe and my phone is always secure.

I bought this for my rambunctious teenage niece. She is accident-prone. I appreciate the Otterbox quality regarding shock resistance. The only thing I am worried about is dust and/or snow going in the opening near the front and rear cameras. It has a screen covering, unlike some of the Otterboxes where you order a separate screen protector.

Easy to put on and looks great. I followed the directions on you tube, which helped a lot, since it was my first smart phone. The Otterbox you tube channel has all the instructions. The written instructions have tiny letters and aren't as complete.

I love the case no damage to your home if it drops. I have even had first responders tell me that they use it.

I bought this case because I upgrade my sonphone. Easy to set up and protected the phone very well.

My sone didn’t take the box off since we got the case and drops once and the back of his phone cracked and no one will fixit at there experience.

The case is very well made and fits the phone nicely. The "walls" are quite thick and feel like they would provide excellent protection if you drop your phone. There is a much slimmer case by Otterbox that some might prefer if any of the following bother you: 1) the screen protector is plastic and will probably get scratched up after a while; 2) the port/switch covers do a good job, but make it hard to plug in the power cord or reach the iPhone's mute switch, and 3) when the power cord is plugged in, the fingerprint reader on the iPhone 7/8 does not work (I assume because the stiff port cover being held open bends the plastic screen protector a bit). Overall a nice case with a very good swivel belt clip that can also double as a stand.

I love the durability and protection that the OtterBox provides for my iPhone. I'm no longer nervous about the slightest "Oopsie" that happens with my phone or even with major incidents with my phone like I was before I purchased the OtterBox Defender Pro Hard Shell Case. I have had many other brands and types of cases for my phones but this is my 2nd OtterBox Defender Series Hard Shell Case and nothing else can compare to the great protection and durability that the OtterBox Defender case provides for my phone.

I am a fan of the Otterbox brand and at least every year I replace them due to wear and tear. If you dropped it a lot, the plastic cover tends to wear down faster and the tough plastic cover starts losing its shape around a year or so. It can be pricey, but I prefer that extra expense rather than go and get another phone. It is wonderful protector and surely it puts me at ease to know my phone will be safe from drops.
