The algorithms for the iPhone 8 have been changed to require a lower starting spot on the screen to access the "control panel." The Otterbox has a piece of plastic covering the starting spot. Called Otterbox customer service looking for a solution. They were of no help. Buyer beware.

We're sorry to hear that your Defender Series Pro case is giving you issues with your control panel. We've noticed that trying to slide that control panel up from different locations at the bottom of the screen can make it easier if you're having trouble doing it directly from the middle. If that doesn't help, reinstalling your case can help get things lined up properly.

I like the glass screen protectors much better. Purchased a different style case.

It blocks the bottom openings the phone needs to have open. After removing the phone from the case, it worked fine. I purchased a different case with openings at the bottom and the phone works without feedback.

I think it’s wet and I just have it out or in my purse I have had to clean it quite a bit thinking it might be sweating inside the case really don’t know

Shattered Screen
