Have used zagg with other otter boxes have very low drop and zagg glass already broken. In old otter box case never had this issue. And dropped the old case a lot and the glass stayed intact.

A decent but expensive case
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was my first Otterbox case and it isn't bad as far as protection is concerned; you know its not supposed to be heavily armored by its lack of size. And it did protect my phone when it flipped out of my shorts pocket onto my concrete patio. The case is a one-piece with what looks like 3 materials: a completely clear, hard back that lets you see the back of the phone, a frosted hard plastic for the lower part of the sides and a TPU-like soft material for the edges. It's this TPU edge that was already yellowed when I bought it in March. Even if it wasn't yellowed at purchase time, it's only late May as of this review and it shouldn't be yellowed yet (see photo). Overall, I wouldn't buy this again as I expect more when I pay this much for a case. Pros: 1. Fits with Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector. 2. Clear (mostly, see Cons). 3. Slimline. Cons: 1. Top rim of the case was yellowed out of the box but the packaging was yellow, so I didn't notice until I got it home. 2. Expensive.

If it falls flat on the screen, the raised corners will help protect it, but a fall on it's side will be bad. Case is great to show off the color of your phone as long as it doesn't yellow like the typical clear cases do.

This case almost made me hate my phone, until i realized the issue was the case and not the phone. The case doesn't conform to the shape of the phone as it should, so when you place the phone against your face, the ridges of the phone feel like painful sharp edges against your skin. The rigid, oddly placed edges make it difficult to use any features or letters that are close to the curved edges of the phone. I replaced the case and discovered the phone is flawless, the case is horrendouse. Sorry Otterbox, this is a fail.
