I love my oura ring, it’s made me learn so much! I love that it can read so much about you and you keep learning things about the ring wether you had it for a couple of months of years.

Like - fit, comfort, look, capabilities, charging and days of battery operation. I wear it 24x7 I especially like step counts, heart rate and sleep monitoring.

As someone who suffers from fatigue I dedcided to give smart rings a try to see how I sleep and so far its been pretty insightful. When I have a crappy night of sleep, I can write what things happened before bed or during the night that way I can form pattern and improve my overall sleep. It did detect that I was getting sick. It clocked it on the second day, and I think the only reason it didn't click the first day is because I hadn't put in my cycle yet, and it was probably trying to figure out what day I was on. I think once I get through a full 28 day it will be very helpful with health insights.

Love it! Got on e for Christmas and ended up getting this one for my girlfriend. She loves it and helps us stay on track with activities, sleep and overall wellbeing.

Sleep Tracking: The ring’s sleep stage analysis and readiness score are helpful for seeing how your body bounces back, especially if you’ve been under stress, sick, or training hard. Where It Falls Short Paywall for Wellness: After the trial, you have to pay $6/month for most features. Without a subscription, you lose access to HRV trends, detailed sleep, temperature, and more. That means the $350–$500 you paid just gets you the hardware—wellness is extra. Luxury Pricing, Questionable Value: The base price is steep, and the gold version costs even more (and yes, the gold can tarnish—search the reviews!). You’re paying for a brand and a shiny finish, not extra function. Opaque Data: Oura only shows your lowest HRV average at night, not your highest, nor your real-time ups and downs. If your number seems low (mine is often ~19 ms), that’s by design—it’s showing your most “strained” period, not your day’s average. This can be confusing and discouraging. Step Count Drift: After recent updates, Oura’s step count dropped (sometimes undercounted), while RingConn overcounts. Neither is perfect. RingConn: A Cheaper, Broader Lens All-Day HRV: RingConn measures HRV continuously, so you can see how stress, calm, and even emotions affect you throughout the day. No subscription required. Half the Price: $200, with core metrics, including HRV, and no recurring fees. App Needs Work: No way to see weekly/monthly HRV trends (at least as of this writing), which makes long-term improvement hard to track. What Companies Should Learn Stop Gating Health Data: HRV isn’t new; HeartMath has offered this tech for decades, focused on healing, not profits. Wellness shouldn’t be locked behind a luxury paywall. Transparency and Choice: Let users see all their HRV data—lowest, highest, averages, and real-time—and empower them to interpret it meaningfully. Price for Access, Not Exclusion: These rings could transform public health if made more affordable. Apple and Oura, why not partner with mission-driven orgs and make HRV tracking a right, not a privilege? Bottom Line If you want the most validated HRV data for overnight recovery, Oura is still the gold standard—but it comes with a monthly toll, luxury pricing, and data “curation” that hides more than it reveals. If you want more raw, day-long HRV (with some trade-offs in accuracy), RingConn is a worthy challenger at half the price. If I could, I’d blend Oura’s science with RingConn’s access and HeartMath’s spirit. Until then, Oura gets 2–3 stars from me—not for lack of innovation, but for putting wellness behind a velvet rope. I have been wearing the ring for almost a month now. I was super excited to get the ring as I've been wanting to know more about my sleeping habits and overall health insights. The sleep tracking is definitely the best part of the ring in my opinion so far. Super accurate and really helpful to see my sleeping habits. The only reason why the ring is not a 5 star rating for me is because in order to use the ring to its full advantage such as blood work data, they require you to pay even more money to get it done through Quest. I have done blood work through my primary, so I do wish they had a feature where you can insert your data manually. The ring is already expensive enough so requiring more money to pay for certain aspects of the health stats is a little crazy to me.

Love the Oura ring to track basic data without stressing myself out too much. It always gives me a heads up if I’m getting ready to get sick, when my temperature rises, etc.

The updated design looks sleek and premium, and the battery life is impressive — I can go days without charging it. The app is super clean and easy to use. I love the detailed breakdown of sleep stages, readiness score, and activity tracking. The new features feel more personalized, and the data actually matches how my body feels throughout the day. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. The Oura Ring 4 is absolutely worth it. Perfect for anyone who wants serious health insights without sacrificing comfort or style. 10/10!

Health reporting is nice. Seems to do well with sleep tracking, but not very good at detecting daily exercise and activities. My biggest issue is the bulk, thickness, and somewhat sharp edges.I catch the band on things all day (pockets, mice, desktops, etc) and have a few times got it stuck in tight spots. Also, I have clanked my head a few times and rubbed my nose just to get a sharp edge to scratch my face. Anyway, cue device, but to clunky for my liking.

Fits well, and holds a charge very well. Comfortable fit with accurate monitoring.

I love the new Oura Ring Gen 4–the fact that it’s thinner, more comfortable, and better looking are simply icing on top of the software improvements that make the information truly worth the money.

I really love this ring! I had my eye on the Oura ring for months, but couldn’t decide if I wanted to pull the trigger on getting it or not. Now, I love waking up everyday and checking my scores based on what the app tells you. You can either pay the monthly subscription or not, but I pay to get all the added features with it. It’s pretty neat to see when your scores are low and actually feeling what the numbers show. I utilize the ring for activity and managing stress. Best purchase ever! I would recommend getting a cover for the ring so you avoid scratching the ring, especially when you are lifting weights.

I am very pleased with the Oura Ring and the insight to health and sleeping. The activity tracking is pretty accurate so long as you take the time to review the notifications and it's the best device I've found so far to track health without being annoying and being discrete. I wish you didn't have to pay for the subscription to the app, but after evaluating Oura app vs. some others, I determined it was worth the extra expense.

This is an absolute must buy for those interested in learning more about your daily living. It fits great, no annoyance noticed and looks great. It seemlessly tracks everything. I definitely recommend this version of the ring.

Good battery life, easy to scratch but the subscription price is annoying

Ive has this ring for 3 month and still loving it. It detects when I’m fighting something or when my temp is elevated. I mostly use the activity tracker, sleep tracker, and menstrual tracker. It’s comfortable to wear all the time and sleep with. Great investment. Happy I was able to get one!

The Oura ring has been an excellent addition to my wearable tech line up. I wear my applae watch during the day and take it off at night and the Oura ring 24/7 except to charge and actives that might damage it. It’s very comfortable to wear and the battery life is excellent.

Great product, great style, accurate information wish the product didn’t discolor so quickly.
