It is great for tracking sleep and stress but bro great to use as a fitness tracker. Also don’t love that you have to pay to use all the features in the app.

The Oura Ring is sleek and innovative, but its value is questionable. Between the high price of the ring and the required subscription, it feels overpriced—especially when competitors like Samsung, Apple, and Garmin offer similar health tracking without ongoing fees. Rings are also easier to lose than watches, making the investment riskier. With competition heating up, and giants like Apple and Google improving battery life and health features, subscription-based models like Oura and Whoop may struggle to stay relevant. The time has come when many people no longer realize how many subscriptions they’re paying for yearly—and in most cases, the total adds up to hundreds of dollars. As awareness grows, more consumers may reject the idea of “renting” wearables.

I wear this all the time and it has been really nice with tracking everything.

For starters this was my first “smart” ring. I managed to find a comfortable size and chose the stealth model. First thing that put me off from it was the monthly subscription fee (which can be paid annually if one chooses) but this I blame myself for given I did not put in my due diligence in researching more about it. The other, and bigger issue I had with it was it seemed like an unfinished product. Rings are supposed to be smooth correct..well one side was smooth but the other was far from it. You could feel the lip protruding from that side and when you ran your finger across it, it felt like metal that was not deburred . This meant anytime I put my hand in my pocket, I would meet with some resistance and for a $400 piece of jewely, this is not acceptable for me.

Prior to the purchase, the literature stated you did not need a subscription to get the basic features. However you cannot set it up without giving a cc #.

Everything I was looking for to replace my Apple Watch and still track what I wanted to. Took no time getting use to and gives me information that Apple didn’t.

I do landscaping. It’s sturdy and hasn’t give up on me.

Its lightweight, fits to size, and health informative

Would absolutely not recommend this. It’s built in tracking of events and activities alone is very bad and for any useful information it all requires manual entry. Even when you add things manually it tracks it and a most other things with this very skewed program.
