The oura ring is amazing. Looks like an accessory but it is more than that, it gives you key insights of your health.

Loving it so far!!! I've had this ring for a few weeks now and have worn it consistently to be able to provide an accurate review. I've also compared it with the information from my apple watch and it seems pretty consistent with the data from that. Love being able to see my sleep data and stress levels throughout the day to make necessary life changes where needed. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing an Oura ring!

I have had my Oura 4 for about 3 months now and I am obsessed. There are so many insights that you gain about your mind and body just from wearing it and checking in on the Oura App. I have especially liked the Sleep Tracking as I had no idea what terrible quality of sleep I was getting. I am now taking steps to improve it and I love being able to see the improvements in real time. I wear a silicon cover over mine and it looks as good as the day I got it. It does make it bulkier but I got used to it very quickly and it does not impede my workouts (or any other aspect of my life). Highly recommend!

I’ve had this ring for a few weeks to track my sleep and it works perfect. Also got it to replace my wedding band and it works great but I did have to get one size larger than my wedding ring size.

This is by far one of my best purchases this year. Was looking for something to wear when I didn’t want to wear my Apple Watch, but it is slowly replacing it. The data is very accurate and comparable to data my watch captures. It looks really nice on and I receive so many compliments.

Like - fit, comfort, look, capabilities, charging and days of battery operation. I wear it 24x7 I especially like step counts, heart rate and sleep monitoring.

I bought this as a recommendation from a coworker and I love it!!! I found my size in-store. The app took me a couple of days to get used to but it's easy after. I love being able to keep track of my sleep and have been adjusting my routines to make it better based on the advice by Oura.

The design won me over immediately. It looks like a normal ring — clean, minimalist, and surprisingly lightweight. After the first day, I stopped noticing it was there. I can sleep, shower, and work out with it on without ever feeling like I’m wearing tech.

I like to use my Apple Watch to tracking things like my heart rate, how I sleep and how miuch movement I am making. since I have had my ring, I dont use my watch as often. way more comfortable and the app tells me everything!

Sleep Tracking: The ring’s sleep stage analysis and readiness score are helpful for seeing how your body bounces back, especially if you’ve been under stress, sick, or training hard. Where It Falls Short Paywall for Wellness: After the trial, you have to pay $6/month for most features. Without a subscription, you lose access to HRV trends, detailed sleep, temperature, and more. That means the $350–$500 you paid just gets you the hardware—wellness is extra. Luxury Pricing, Questionable Value: The base price is steep, and the gold version costs even more (and yes, the gold can tarnish—search the reviews!). You’re paying for a brand and a shiny finish, not extra function. Opaque Data: Oura only shows your lowest HRV average at night, not your highest, nor your real-time ups and downs. If your number seems low (mine is often ~19 ms), that’s by design—it’s showing your most “strained” period, not your day’s average. This can be confusing and discouraging. Step Count Drift: After recent updates, Oura’s step count dropped (sometimes undercounted), while RingConn overcounts. Neither is perfect. RingConn: A Cheaper, Broader Lens All-Day HRV: RingConn measures HRV continuously, so you can see how stress, calm, and even emotions affect you throughout the day. No subscription required. Half the Price: $200, with core metrics, including HRV, and no recurring fees. App Needs Work: No way to see weekly/monthly HRV trends (at least as of this writing), which makes long-term improvement hard to track. What Companies Should Learn Stop Gating Health Data: HRV isn’t new; HeartMath has offered this tech for decades, focused on healing, not profits. Wellness shouldn’t be locked behind a luxury paywall. Transparency and Choice: Let users see all their HRV data—lowest, highest, averages, and real-time—and empower them to interpret it meaningfully. Price for Access, Not Exclusion: These rings could transform public health if made more affordable. Apple and Oura, why not partner with mission-driven orgs and make HRV tracking a right, not a privilege? Bottom Line If you want the most validated HRV data for overnight recovery, Oura is still the gold standard—but it comes with a monthly toll, luxury pricing, and data “curation” that hides more than it reveals. If you want more raw, day-long HRV (with some trade-offs in accuracy), RingConn is a worthy challenger at half the price. If I could, I’d blend Oura’s science with RingConn’s access and HeartMath’s spirit. Until then, Oura gets 2–3 stars from me—not for lack of innovation, but for putting wellness behind a velvet rope. Limited in function, but an excellent self-care smart device. Got it as a present for my wife (didn't fit at first but Best Buy was able to exchange it without issue). She loves it telling her sleep score. She's learned things about how she goes about the day and its impact on her health. Nothing revolutionary but she likes it and all her friends have one so its fun for them.

Wife bought me one for Christmas so I bought her this one for her birthday! We both love them!

The sales person was extremely helpful during the purchase decision, as is typical for Best Buy. I’m very happy with the ring, as it gives me a lot of data about sleep quality, and suggestions for improving. It seems to be quite accurate in determining sleep times as well. This was a good purchase.
