    Ring Died After One Week

    I picked up my ring from best buy after purchasing through Oura. After one week the ring completely died. Will not charge and is dead and useless. Did all the steps to try and reset it with no luck. Only way to contact Oura is via a chatbot then email. Initially, it was determined it was a hardware failure and they were sending me a replcement. A week goes by with no update as to the replacement being shipped. I go through the chatbot and email process again, and recieved an email that the size and color of the ring is out of stock (yet you can still order it online through Oura or Best Buy for same day pick up). I responded saying that this is unacceptable and my email was “escalated” and now havent heard anytning in almost a week. So now ive been with an expensive useless ring. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I would not recommend the ring to anyone especially since their customer service is non-existant and they clearly dont stand behind their product. Hopefully i can get a refund instead of a replacememt because this product is terrible.

    Be careful when buying!

    I would suggest to stay away from this product and the company. I have desperately tried to activate the ring (Oura 4) creating an account using their app. Was not able to get through the first step--the app was not recognizing email address. All my efforts to get the company on board failed. I have more than 18 emails going there and back with them and who knows how many wasteful interactions with their primitive chatbot Finn. For the full month, the only answer I got (if anything at all) was that "... we understand your frustration..." and "...our engineers intensely working on your problem, and we will get back to you as soon as it will be solved..." They only could be "truly sorry" for my troubles and they are "very grateful for sharing my experience" with them. So, I am fed with this dysfunctional product and despicable company--returning their junk.

    Complete garbage! Short version of story.. I bought my first ring and worked ok for a week then stopped recording sleep data which was the most important thing to me. I have 2 more rings from oura that they sent me since they found diagnostic problems on my first one! All the same problem! Missing sleep data, wrong sleep times. You will Never talk to a real person, all automated. They just offered me ring #4. I said "I am done " just got a new Galaxy gen 7 watch and sure hope I have a better experience. If you get an oura ring you Will be sorry. After ring 3 I asked for my money back which of course they couldn't do.

    Battery’s crap

    Really was loving this ring but have only had it for about a month and the battery went to crap. Won’t even charge shows me on the app and the light indicates it’s charging but it wouldnt pass 9% so i let it die and tried again and it will not pass 1% even though it says it’s charging. Got ahold of support and they said they can send a new one but could take 2 weeks to get here. 2 weeks is pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

    I haven't used this ring yet because I can't charge it! I'm disappointed that I spent $380 for this ring and I can't even charge it! Oura supplies a charging dock with a USB-C cord that can only be used to charge through a laptop. I don't want to charge it with my laptop. I want to use a wall charger, but I don't have one that conforms to Oura's requirements. Oura's website says to charge it with either a laptop or a 5 volt power brick with an external DC supply that comes with EN 62368-1 standard. I plugged those requirements into Amazon and can't find anything that specs those specific requirements the Oura website provides. If you don't charge it with something compatible, they state that it can damage the charging dock or the Oura ring battery or both. I'm waiting to hear from Oura support via email. Can't even talk to a person directly. I will probably end up returning this and buying a different brand fitness tracker ring. I will update this review if Oura provides suitable support and helps me find a wall charger that will work without damaging the ring.

    Don’t waste your money

    The ring worked amazing for 2 weeks then slowly stopped tracking until no tracking at all. Rebooted ring, worked for a few days then stopped again. I returned it to Best Buy figuring it was defective and they sent me a new one. Then, same thing, worked great for 2 weeks then stopped working again. Did all the required options to fix the problem, worked for 2 days then stopped again…ugh. I have iPhone 15, felt snug on index finger, made sure ring was clean, spent soooo much time trying to research how to fix the tracking problem, so I finally returned the ring for a full refund….does not work well enough for the price and does not track me ona daily basis

    Don't waste your money. I bought a Gen3 ring less than 2 years ago and it stopped working. Oura will only deal with you through email. In 7 days I got just 6 emails. Finally they told me the ring was defective. Offered me $50 to buy a new ring at their site or a refurbished ring that might have dings and scratches. I dumped the ring and bought an Apple Watch which has more features and seems to be more accurate. My watch and old Fitbit give me consistent numbers on some things. The ring is way off.

    Worked for about 6 weeks. Now hasn't recorded sleep data for 5 days . Have put in 2 customer service orders. They send the same suggestions every time which don't work. I am very unhappy with this ring and ouras customer satisfaction. I will be canceling membership and throwing the ring in the trash. They don't care and you can NEVER talk to a real person. Bestbuy wont refund money because past return time. Dont waste your money on this product.

    Ring was great to start but after owning it for about a month it just died. I went to bed it was charged and working, woke up in the morning it was dead. Contacted Oura support, took a week to respond and gave me a bunch of try this/try that and nothing. Still waiting for feedback and now returning the product. Thankfully best buy has a great return policy, my saving grace.
