Nice Health Tracker!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have enjoyed using my Oura ring. I feel like it gives a very accurate depiction of my health. I love the sleep tracking feature and the ring itself is very comfortable to wear. I was between 2 sizes and I ended up going with the bigger size. I’m so glad that I did because I didn’t realize that your fingers swell so much at night. The battery doesn’t last as long as advertised (mine lasts about 3 days before needing a charge, but that doesn’t bother me as it charges very quickly. Overall, I have enjoyed my Oura ring.

Oura Ring - Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my Oura ring for about a month now, and I absolutely love it! I had debated purchasing one for over a year, and finally decided to bite the bullet. Is it a bit pricey? Yes. But so is replacing the watches I wore for years; losing their charging ability, getting dinged up, band clasps wearing out, etc. I feel like I was replacing my watches every year. I decided to purchase my ring in-store to take advantage of the sizers that are available. I’m thankful I did that, because if I had purchased my “regular size” ring, I would have bought one 2 sizes too small. The ring is durable, stylish, and holds a charge for almost a week (and I wear it 24/7). The proprietary app that pairs with it has helped me track and manage my chronic illness symptoms and provides accurate insights into my body’s inner workings. If you’re on the fence and wanting a little more out of your wearable in terms of health tracking (I never used my watches for phone calls or texts or any of the other features), then I can’t recommend this ring more!

Impressive battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Oura ring has been great so far. The battery life is impressive-it last several days, so no need to charge it every night. It gives details about your sleep including the different stages. It also tracks your stress and overall health providing education on improving your health based on your scores. The only downside is that I think I bought a size too big, even though I tried the sizing kit beforehand. Other than that, it is super easy and convenient to use.

For Health, Not Fitness
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a long time user of smartwatches, having a few different brands over the years. I say this because I found myself, quite frequently, comparing the Oura ring to the (app) data that my smartwatch provides. I quickly realized that there really is little overlap in the type of data that each device provides. In my experience, my smartwatch is better for tracking fitness and the Oura ring is better for tracking health. In my two weeks of testing the Oura ring, the battery consistently lasted 5 days. Minus the initial "charge after getting the ring", it took 1.5 hours to fully charge from 19%. After waking up the morning of the 5th day, my ring was at 17%. I read somewhere that if you wear a larger ring size, you'll get more battery life out of it. For my size 7, five days is as much as it will give me. My watch keeps track of current activity data, like steps, workouts, how I slept (when I choose to wear the watch to bed) and heart rate when I prompt it to take that measurement. The ring seems to be more about overall health. It’s more proactive in making observations about how my day may be, which is based on how well I slept and displaying if I’m well rested, thus increasing my activity goal for the day. That being said, there were a couple nights where I slept horribly, waking up frequently and actually getting out of bed. In the morning, the ring gave me a sleep score of 92. I felt like my sleep score should have been closer to 50. A night where I felt like I slept pretty good scored me at 85. One night, my dog was having stomach issues so I had to get out of bed twice to let him outside. In the morning, the Oura app rated my sleep score at 94 - "Optimal". It said my awake time was 49 minutes, but I had "No significant movement during your sleep". Confusing! The graph shows the approximate times I was awake, but the interface does not allow you to interact with the graph to see specific times (by sliding your finger along the graph). Overall, the sleep data the Oura provides is very confusing to me. It doesn't seems to consistently reflect the sleep I feel I actually got, and the data in the app is confusing to interpret. As for tracking steps, smartwatch versus the Oura ring... the Oura ring tracks an average of 2,000 steps more than my smartwatch. This is one metric that I 100% would not rely on the ring to accurately track. For example, I was awake for 6 hours, just doing things around the house. My watch had tracked 1660 steps. The ring had tracked 4153. Yesterday, my watch tracked 4718 and the ring tracked 7214. Taking into consideration my activities, my smartwatch is much closer to my actual step count. I searched Oura's help site on information about step and activity tracking. It says that total count is made up of step-based and non-step-based movements. It also said that wearing your ring on your dominant vs your non-dominant hand can impact your daily totals. The accelerometers in the ring can have difficulty accurately tracking no or limited hand movement activities like cycling or lifting weights. While intense hand movements like drumming (or typing, like I read elsewhere) can greatly inflate the totals. Their website suggested manually adding activities or importing activities by using apps connected to other activity tracking devices. My usual fitness activities include walking my dogs and weight lifting. I thought that it would be an issue wearing the ring for weightlifting, and getting a good grip on the bars. However, I ended up wearing gloves which helped with my grip and protected the ring from getting scratched. I utilized the Health Connect app to combine the data from my watch and ring to get a better picture of my workout (from my watch) and how that contributes to my overall health profile (from my ring). One thing I REALLY wish the ring had was a vibrating alarm. There are some mornings where I have to wake up before my spouse. These times, I wear my smartwatch and set the (vibrating) alarm on it. I honestly do not like wearing my watch to bed. I feel like it's too big and a constant reminder that I'm going to be woken up by an alarm in the morning. I feel like this is actually preventing me from getting better sleep. Wearing a ring, that is much more discreet than a watch, to wake me up in the morning would have been awesome. The data in the Oura app is a lot to digest. I worked in IT as a web developer for 20 years and consider myself fairly tech savvy. I found it to be a challenge to logically navigate around the app. Some data isn’t located where you would expect to find it and sometimes it seemed to be missing data. For example, one of the tabs at the top of the home screen is Heart rate. When you select that, you get your days of data for Heart rate and stress. One day, it showed that I was “stressed” for almost 3 hours. That seemed confusing to me because I didn’t feel stressed any time during the day… at least what I would consider stress. Another metric on this screen is Activity. Despite manually tracking my weightlifting workout and walking my dogs, this was empty. Instead, there was a message that said “When you save your activities, your activity heart rate will appear here.” When I selected the Activity tab on the home screen, and scroll to the very bottom, it lists “other” for the weightlifting from the Health Connect app and “Walking” for when walked the dogs. I’m not sure if this is a glitch in the app or if there’s a different way that I need to “save” my activities. One thing I'd like to note. I got the sizing kit before getting the ring. I tried out a few different sizes on different fingers. I settled on a size 7 for my ring fingers. Since I started wearing the ring and learning how to use the app and interpret the data, I've done a lot of research online. During my research, most photos people posted showed the ring on their index finger. I Googled "best finger to wear a smart ring" and most results said the index finger. During the process of getting this ring, I never saw that there's a "best finger" to wear a smart ring on. I’m not sure if I made a mistake in choosing to wear this ring on my ring finger. It leaves me wondering if my experience with my data results could have been more accurate. The Oura Ring seems to be more of an overall health tracking device. I would not consider the ring as a fitness tracking device, as a standalone product. If you have the means, you can get a good overall health and fitness profile by combining the Oura ring with a smartwatch, or other fitness tracking device. Taking that into consideration, I feel the Oura ring is a bit overpriced. Combine that with the fact that, to get all the useful data, you will need to pay $5.99/month or $69.99/year for that data. Being that I’m provided all my data from my smartwatch for free, I really am disappointed that Oura is charging money for their app data.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well, better then apple watch. I have had no issues with it at all. I have also done yard work and other things with it and it is still in one piece. I am impressed. I only pop it on the charger when I shower and back on when out more as a place to put it when I shower. I have not received a battery low and have had it for several months now.

Oura Ring 4
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable, smart learning for your health data, the app gives you ratings and graphs so you can compare daily, weekly, monthly trends. takes a couple weeks to build some of the data needed to be tracked some data populates after the first night of wearing it. Battery life has been lasting 7 days, very quick recharge time. For a female it is a little bulky wish it was a little bit smaller but for all the sensors it may need to be that big. Overall pretty impresed with it.

Not as wonderful as the hype but I like it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read countless reviews of all the different rings and I settled on this one. I like the ring but I don’t find the information very useful. I got my dad one also and his doctor likes the heart variability function and sleep monitoring to evaluate his health. His doctor has one, too. My dad is 78 years old and finds it very helpful and fascinating. I am 48 and healthy. I don’t get much out of it. It’s cool that it tells me the amount of time of my sleep cycles but I do not get a real time heart beat number. I wish it would tell blood pressure but it doesn’t and I already knew this. It does remind me when I have been idle for too long and how many calories I burn, which I like a lot. The subscription is a down side. I bought the rose gold color. It is more of a copper color. Can’t say I love it. I should have gotten silver but I was worried about it scratching. So far my ring has no scratches and I wear it every day. I’m always hitting it against something. I work in a hospital and use alcohol based hand sanitizer all day. No issues yet. My dad has the shiny black and it still shines with no scratches. He is a telephone man and uses his hands all day at work. The size fits great. I got a size 8 , which fits just like the testing kit. I do feel the ring was over priced but it’s worth buying the one you like since you will be wearing it every day. I was hoping the stealth color was a matte black; however it is not. Stealth was more of a gray, very manly. I just didn’t like it. Kind of cheap looking. So was the titanium color. That’s why I selected rose gold. I wanted something a little feminine. As for battery life, it lasts about 4 days. I try to charge it every few days while I am in the shower. Works well. I’ve had no problems with the ring. Functions as it is supposed to. It’s very comfortable with the flat readers. Feels like any other ring. Not heavy. Looks like a wedding band though.

Nice upgrade over the Series 3
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice upgrade over the series 3, but no major improvements. The biggest difference is that it no longer has prongs on the inside of the ring, which makes it noticeably more comfortable and look more like a normal ring on your finger. Tracking data in the Oura app seems very accurate, especially with sleep data. I charge it every morning while I shower/eat breakfast and that’s enough to keep it going until at least the next morning.

Solid build
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this ring and love it. Very comfortable and stylish. Seemed pretty accurate. Biggest downfall for me and reason why I returned the ring was because of the subscription fee. $5.99 a month doesn’t seem too expensive but like many others have said, after the cost of the ring and the monthly fee couldn’t justify keeping it

I don’t have too many complaints
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this ring for a little over 2 weeks and I like the design of it and I don’t really notice that I am wearing it because it is pretty light weight. However the app I am still trying to get used to and not really sure if I like its layout yet but I do like the fit and design of the ring itself , I have notice it does scratch very easy.

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I'm pretty happy with my Oura Ring 4. It's sleek, comfortable, and offers useful insights into my sleep and recovery. Occasionally, heart rate readings seem slightly off, but generally, the accuracy is good. Battery life holds up nicely too. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worthwhile for health tracking enthusiasts.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great health tracking overall. The Oura Ring is comfortable and discreet, offering detailed monitoring of sleep and daily activity. The app is intuitive and presents the information clearly, though it takes a little time to get used to all the metrics. Battery life is good but could be better considering constant use. The Perfect Companion to My Apple Watch Ultra!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a super long time of wanting an Oura Ring, I finally pulled the plug, and I couldn't be happier with it! As a proud owner of the Apple Watch Ultra, this stylish little ring complements my health tracking so well. Being able to wear it while sleeping and capture detailed data has been incredibly cool! As a runner, I've found the Oura Ring calculates just as much meaningful data as my Apple Watch Ultra. It’s even better because it seamlessly connects with Apple Health, combining its insights with the data my watch captures during bike rides and runs. This integration makes the experience so cohesive and insightful for tracking fitness and overall health trends. This is a fantastic gift for anyone who loves digging into health data, leveraging tools for fitness, or simply keeping better track of their body. The Oura Ring also connects with Strava to track activity—although I’d recommend pairing it with a proper smartwatch or fitness tracker for real-time tracking during workouts. But honestly, using both together provides an unbeatable combo! Whether it's for yourself or a loved one, this is hands-down a brilliant gift idea. It’s stylish, functional, and an amazing addition to any health enthusiast's toolkit!

It is so comfortable to wear and it keeps track of so much! It keeps track of my steps, my breathing, how well I am sleeping. I love it because it is not bulky and comfortable to sleep in. It is so much better than wearing a watch all of the time. I recommend this product as it is a game changer.
