Almost a year old. Going strong, then it stopped recording my sleep which is why I really purchased the ring. The worst part is the Chat Bot customer service. You are put on hold on your phone and then cut off. Three attempts and 45 minutes was too much for me. You can't even leave a less than stellar review to let Oura and their App aware of your frustrations, as it refuses to post. + To say I am disappointed is an understatement. It was an expensive purchase and disappoints on many levels. Do better Oura.

It does its job but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what it is. I also don’t like that I have to pay monthly for a subscription.

I bought as a gift on sale. I was told by the salesman that if it didn’t fit the girls can bring it in and exchange it. When they took them in they got the exact same rings but a smaller size. Well the smaller size according to the manager was a different “model number”. They charged my daughter $150 each for the two exact rings. Please be aware that Best Buy’s promises on prices has a trick to it.

The Oura Ring 4 is a decent enough wearable, but I would not advise buying the stealth version. It scratches very easily and does not retain the natural matte finish very well.

I literally never write reviews, however this is an expensive item. First the Pros - great data and app and REALLY want this to work. Now the Cons - the ring keeps on failing. I'm currently about to get my 4th replacement ring since my original purchase in October 2024 (3.5 months!). All 3 rings I have had have all lost their ability to connect to my phone and won't charge - essentially they just die. Oura response has been "we have discovered an issue with your Oura Ring." At this point I wish I could take the ring back to Best Buy and get my money back. Why is Oura releasing a product that is clearly defective!

The Oura fitness ring has been one of the most exciting pieces of fitness tech that I have used in quite a long time. A lot of this has to do with the fact that the ring itself is not cumbersome like other wearables and if you are used to wearing a ring or wedding band then it is unobtrusive. There is a lot to love about the Oura ring so let us get into it. Before you buy the Oura ring, Oura sends you ring sizes to try on to fine the perfect fit for your needs. These are really well made and sturdy trial rings of varying sizes. Once I found the proper ring size, I received my ring in stealth, which happens to be a beautiful color. The ring fits identical to my other wedding bands and is super comfortable. I have now worn my Oura ring for a little over one week and have not taken it off (Except to charge it ONCE....thing about that). The battery life is incredible and I get roughly 4.5 days out of it with full time use. The app and the data that Oura puts out is incredible. I love understanding my sleep and HRV because Oura will give you your readiness level which is almost on par with how I feel. So when I am going to workout, I know that my body has more to give. I have worn this while going on walks, cycling and weight lifting and when I tell you how incredible this ring and app is at identifying the workout; it is not only incredible but mind blowing. The Oura app will give you data at the top stating how long the workout was, Heart Rate averages and calories burned but it will actually suggest to you what workout it was and you can confirm it or change it. The mind blowing thing to me is the ring has been correct every single time be it weight lifting, cycling, walking, etc. It is super impressive. I also really like how Oura will baseline your vitals and then use that as the benchmark the more you wear the device. It is rather incredible for a small wearable, let alone a ring. I can honestly say that I can see myself owning multiple iterations of Oura and I have already highly recommended it to numerous people. If you are looking for an unobtrusive fitness wearable that will give you metrics to change your habits, then this is the product for you.

The ring was bulky and was not comfortable for me. The app experience was very limited. I think it is because I really like my Apple Watch.

I’ve had my ring for 1 month and the battery is not keeping a charge. Not worth buying unless you buy the protection plan through Best Buy. I also got the brushes silver and the ring already has a lot of scratches with regular daily wear.

I think it's an overrated device, yes you can track something, but! Heart rate and stress levels for 500 bucks, really? I thought there were more useful features, but in the end a very overloaded app and very little use. I don't understand why I need it.

Huge, not accurate when counting steps. Very restricted in what you want the ring to track. Returned as it was not very useful. The tracking of a phone was way more accurate. It is also huge!

I can’t put into words how pleased I am with the Oura Ring 4, but I’ll give it a shot. The growth of fitness trackers has exploded and as the technology gets better, the accuracy and information gained will continue to improve. I’ve had GPS watches with heart rate monitors, but wanted something more discrete that could be worn every day without looking like I was off to compete in a triathlon. The Oura 4 ring monitors heart rate, activity, sleep quality, body temperature and oxygen levels. During setup, the app (which is beautifully designed) asks what area you want to improve and will base recommendations on that. I’ve found I need to be more engaged so it monitors how well I sleep, my daytime stress and offers ways to improve. Most of it is common sense, but being mindful and having the recommendations is very helpful. One concern I had was the durability of the finish. To put it to the test, on Day 1 I wore it to split wood - I wanted those calories burned to count! I was shocked that there wasn’t a scratch. I opened the app to sync my activities and it detected the activity was yard work. I’m not sure how, but that’s impressive. I’ve worn it to the gym to lift and still not a mark. In general, I don’t sleep well. With the stress of life I spend at least an hour awake in the middle of the night. Oura detects how long it takes me to sleep as well as gauges when I was awake. It also looks for variations in heart rate and oxygen levels throughout the night. If I had a particular rough night it will offer suggestions the next morning how to make it better. The battery lasts a few days with the oxygen monitoring enabled. I’m sure with it disabled battery life improves, but with how quickly it recharges it’s not a concern. Having all of this in a ring is simply amazing.
